  1. Whoops I messed part of that up. I meant to say it's the hardest, and second BEST only to soccer. Rugby up there too though...
  2. Just send me your address, I'll be up there by morning to help out....just pay me in minis.
  3. Hardest sport in the world in my opinion. Second only to Soccer. Sad to see Vino out with that nasty crash into the ditch. Just got back from suspension, was having a pretty grand year, and then this. Kinda felt bad for him...kinda. Good thing about Contador being beat up a bit going into the mountains. Should make for some dramatic racing if you ask me!
  4. Put me down as tentative. I'll try and convince my better half to give me the day off.
  5. I concur. It's either this or ticket to ride as the next "family" board game... P.s. I really want it to be this.
  6. AAAARGH! As long as Hollywood doesn't touch Blade Runner I'll be good...
  7. I played about four or five games with this list...went 3-2 with it (first games of Malifaux ever soooo yeah). Zoraida and Voodoo Doll Collodi 3x Marionettes Primordial Magic Then I switched between Dopplegangrel, and Coppelius/Teddy, depending on opponent and mood.
  8. 4x4 with an added 6 inches to deployment, and loaded with forests, buildings, barricades, and rivers. Mucho terrain makes this game sooo much better IMHO.
  9. 4x Marionettes. Paired, Flurry, Slow Trigger, succesive attacks, and if they go pop, you get to make more.
  10. I've been having a great time with Rami, Convict, and Jack Daw. You get to do some good denial, and between Rami's length, and potential damage, and the Convict's discards, you can have great fun! Only problem is not having a good (Melee) Obey target if things start to get too close for (southern) comfort.
  11. WOW. Paint is good, but the flavor you added is just tops. Kudos to you Angor.
  12. Nico in red looking dashing, Mortimer looks smashing (lol), and that Belle in blue is captivating (see what I did there?).
  13. Sure has alot of water effects. You plan on bridges, or some type of quick access between the islands? If not, you sure are giving a good advantage to flying/floating models. Oh and great job! Sure is a good one you've got there.
  14. I've got a couple of pictures of one of the actual Roanoke River Lighthouses if you guys are at all inclined...you know for authenticity's sake.
  15. Canes fans are frothing right now. Its literally going to come down to the last game for them. I know this area is going to explode if they end up making though.
  16. Zoraida, Voodoo Doll Dreamer/LCB, 3 Daydreams (-6) Pandora, Primordial Magic (-2) 13 starting cache - 8 Soulstones = 5 soulstone cache. I get to do some shenanigans and simple summoning via Zoraida, I've got my melee master in LCB, and finally I can effect WP test immunities ala Perdita.
  17. I know cuz THIS is the year the Sharks take it all, am-I-right? I'm sooo tired of being one of what, like five teams that have never made it to even a final....:wallbash:
  18. Ugh. That Inter game was a travesty. I generally root for AC Milan (yes I'm American but my family is originally from Italy 20 miles north of Milan...so yeah I root for them.)
  19. Hmmm. That's an interesting one eturns. You'd rather have the 2 SS vs. the 1 spent on the daydream? I'm actually just the opposite.
  20. It's in addition to. So 4 wounds @ 6" or 5 wounds @ 12" (with trigger obviously).
  21. 1:47 Joe Pavelski, 8:26 Vlasic Sharks 2 Kings 0
  22. Funny cuz I always take the twins with my Zoraida crew. I like to go with the big scary stuff ala: Dreamer/LCB (+6ss cache) Teddy Coppelius 3x Daydreams. This let's me get 8ss max if I only go with 1 scheme, and I've got what I need to eat face. My advice would be to try proxies of Coppelius, Teddy and the Twins (you "always" field Lelu and Lilitu together) , then swap them out till you find the combos that you really like, then buy that.
  23. Ok so since we've got a Hockey thread going, and it looks like a good amount of UKers, I thought it fitting to start a thread about another of my other sporting passions, Soccer. Let's have it people, match recaps, pissy fits, you know whatever floats your boat (within forum rules obviously;)) I'll start it off, just watched the Chelsea v. Stoke City match and it was a beauty. Final 10 minutes saw Drogba have two good looks, and Stoke City holding the reigning champs to a 1-1 tie. Looking forward to watching some live MLS games this season. Let's go Earthquakes!!!
  24. Oh how I miss So Cal. I'm originally from the Burbank/LA area though I haven't been back in about five years. Anywho, welcome to the forums!
