  1. My 5th year at gencon. Haven't gotten a chance to get a pick up game in. I plan to change that this year. Solid chance I get to meet some of you there. Be seeing Indy in 4 days
  2. the current BF bag for malifaux works quite well actually. With the original 18 pieces and multi player upgrade, tokens, two decks, rule book and board i still have room for my regular game of malifaux and consolidated rule book. I am very happy with the release of Puppet Wars. It was awesome to see the game being played & demoed at Gen con. Cheers!
  3. sorry, had issue with size of picture. this is my running witch hunter staff. working on show girls and Ortega family.
  4. out of curiosity, how dependent are the showgirls with the mech doves? is there a fun list with running just the cophyees and maybe an outcast or two? or what about straight from the box? does anybody recommend the convict gunslinger? i purchased him a few days ago for my witch hunters. seems like running the girls a few times and getting to know their tricks is the obvious way to go. has anybody noticed their tactics running short on opportunities/originality when played against the same players time and again? ie- do people learn their tactics pretty quick or do the girls keep opponents on their toes and have opportunity of creative tactics? thanks for answering my questions and i love reading about playing the girls against the dreamer!
  5. i have been playing mainly witch hunters so i went ahead and purchased the Executioner. not only is he a great looking model, he will be a blast against Nicodem that my buddy plays. so i was a bit worried about painting so much flesh but it seems that my worrying paid off? the lighting isnt the best but i went for really smooth brush strokes with more layers of paint. i used 2 to 1 dilution of paint to water. when i complete him i will post him and the rest of my gang.
  6. after what you guys have been saying and what more i have read on their stat cards i totally agree. i started painting them lastnight and plan to proxy the doves and get the coyphees on order this week. next week i will be playing against the dreamer and maybe if i get it together ill play the showgirls, see how it unfolds. here's to good gaming!
  7. no worries about derailing. i totally appreciate the input and i decided last night that i was going to give the girls a go. so unless i am mistaken the models for the doves have not come out? does the box set alone with out the doves or anything else stand up in a game? having 3 doves plus the box set work? thanks again everyone!
  8. my local game store talked me into purchasing the show girls for my 2nd faction. i am a new player with a handful of games in with the witch hunter box set. i have taken to the guild for the style of minis and the fluff. i am just not sure after reading tactics on the show girls whether they are for me or not. i am looking for someone to identify their typical tactics and to help define them for me . thanks! i might just have to paint them and let them look pretty in my display shelve. please help the noob! i am totally diggn malifaux and its inhabitants...:abduct:
