Ok, ill throw my hat into the ring here. My girlfriend has been playing solely lady j, and her list of choice is: Lady j Judge 3x death marshals Austringer Scales of justice If I had any swap to recommend it would be judge for nino. I just can't really put into words how good nino is. He wants masks for trigger happy, but otherwise functions nicely without needing to cheat fate (much). I find the peacekeeper to be lacking...at least until hoffman comes out and makes him more reliable. Arachnid is nice for the odd severe terrain-heavy setup, but otherwise is kinda meh. Anyways, she kicks quite a bit of butt in our local meta with the above list.

I'm currently a Sonnia Criid/Perdita player but I would like to branch out to a different faction. I've been looking at both McMourning and Rasputina as alternate masters. I was wondering which one of these two would be best for overall flexibility in any scenario/scheme. It's been tough. Sometimes I lean towards Rasputina because she's pretty much good in any scenario. It seems like it's a matter of whether or not you take a Cerebus or December Acolyte and how many Gamins you take. McMourning, on the other hand, seems to be pretty set with a mixture of Canine Remains/Punk Zombies/Flesh Constructs, a nurse, Sebastian and the Chihuahua. Would this be an accurate assessment?

First off, this is my first post on here! I got drawn to Malifaux by a large group of Warmachine/Hordes players who have taken up this game. It's surprisingly different and refreshing. Anyways, I am normally a Perdita/Sonnia player, but love the concept and rules of the Freikorp. So with that being said, what are some important tactics to keep in mind with Von Shill? Additionally what are some essential models to move up to 30ss and 35ss? I have read the Student of Conflict but I am not sure on anything else worthwhile for Von Shill. Also, how many normal Freikorpsmen/Specialists/Trappers would you typically bring?
