  1. Hey, I remember you! Yup, it's me, still playing at Rival's, although I haven't played 40k since Malifaux has picked up here. We've got a Malifaux league on Tuesdays at 6 if you're interested.

  2. Hey, Skye-- This is Andy Corcoran. You may remember me as the guy with the converted white chaos daemon army or the land raiders with all the side panels stuffed with skulls & bones. I assume you still play at Rivals, yeah? --Andy

  3. Thanks for the kind words, gents. @GreenRiveter: They're actually not quite as shiny in person, though the polyurethane I use as a hard coat does have a bit of a sheen to it (it's also MUCH tougher than varnish). Since my usual mini's are armored, the shine hasn't been much of an issue. These Malifaux figs, though, are the first that have me considering picking up some DullCote. Are you Skye, btw? @simhenk: Thanks! For whatever reason, it seems nearly impossible for sculptors to put the @#$^ing mohawk on straight. Once I shaved this one off, the Voodoo Gunslinger idea was fairly obvious. I'd considered also sculpting a bowler or top hat for him, but I was in a bit of a rush to get these done. The gunslinger is my favorite, too. Fortunately, I'll be able to use him in all my crews...
  4. Still on the workbench: Papa, Francisco, & the Executioner...
  5. One of the best aspects of Perdita is that you don't really need the rest of the Ortegas for her to be hellaciously effective. Also, Obey makes her a force multiplier for the rest of the crew. My regular opponents, on the other hand, have many... unpleasant... nicknames for her...
  6. Yo, I sent a friend request. PhatCat is Adrian, don't try to peel me just yet.
