Reading this thread from start to finish made my damn heart throb. I like Leveticus, as he is right now he's fine, even with the changes to the Steampunks. If anything, don't make it so that he has to also worry about Constantly resummoning his life lines, as it becomes a headache and a half as it is making sure they stay alive, and then protecting them when he comes back.

I too am curious. I've got the updated cards from the blisters, and all it states is now that SPA's do their little fancy movement only with the SPA's. Is there something even more changing going to happen? Please clarify.

Ashes and Dust makes me excited. However, is having A&D worth having less SPA's? What I mean is, Usually I play 30 ss lists. I always take an Alyce, and 4 SPA's, as I've found that with that core, you've got a pretty mean combination. Though I can't combine them with the spiders to run fast, I find having a model that dashes around, can heal itself, and is moderately killy. So yeah, I like fielding the Steampunk Arachnid Swarm.

It's not a hate thing, it's just a subtle change that I stumble upon after doing it. You know when you research something absolutely thoroughly, think you have it all correct, and then somebody pops in and pokes your bubble? That's sort of what It felt like.

Where is this keep pace cuddle? I've checked the Errata, Extra Errata, and the Faq all before I posted my list, or bought my models. Oh crap....I just opened up the book and looked at the actual Card. Darn.....I bought the models thinking that this would work, and now that it doesn't I feel rather..... dissapointed is a light word for it. Ahh well, at least I can buy Ramos and have a reason to have all those spiders / the combination.....and Joss. Is Joss a good addition? How about the Hooded Rider? I have those two models, and could field either one with my SPA's Side Note, I'm a little irritated about the lack of information about this change, in the book it states friendly constructs, and I had to buy the models to find this out. As a new player, I love the game, but this is a tiny little oversight that rubs me raw. Side Side Note, which description applies? The Card, or the Book? Which one is the......mistake? Or is this just an oversight that they shrugged and went with? I ask because this really does hurt me pocket wise, since effectively I went in with the information I thought was correct.

For 30 SS games, I prefer this list. Levi Rusty Alyce = 8ss 3 x Steampunk Spiders = 3 ss = 9 ss 4 x Steampunk Abominations = 3 ss = 12 ss I only have 1 SS in reserve, but this is what I do with my models. Two of the Arachnids have 2 Aboms attached. They rush along whatever I'd like, double walking and dragging them. When I want to drop the bomb, I simply move the two close together, combining the 4, and doing the little rush trick. That leaves my Spiders ready to combine right behind them, or next turn, support the Engine by latching on and lowering defense. If the spiders die, they are simply more SPA's for me, and I can use them to effectively surpress the magic of whatever I happen to be mauling.
