  1. I'm using the Savage Worlds system, but MOST of the mechanics I'm lifting straight from the Malifaux system. Ie: cards instead of dice. Point based skill and stat system. I'll keep people updated with how it's going. But I do have a rather important question: Where is the Breach located? On this side that is. I THINK its england, but I want to be sure.
  2. @Wodschow, actually you're right, sorrow isn't one of the deadly sins. My aplogies. Colors, I'm just making those up. It is kinda intuiative, but you're right in that not everyone will associate a color with one Woe. The idea is still good though.
  3. Nerdelemental: Perhaps they should be reviesed a touch and reposted? I'm going to go with Rasputina, my wife isn't playing but my best friend she's going for ramos. She likes the cerbus sabertooths. My wife isn't interested, yet. She is interested in a Malifaux RPG though.
  4. Sleeper00: That's a GREAT idea. All wyrd would have to do is issue new stat cards for each of the deadly sins. Blue= sorrows, Green= envy Red= rage White= gluttony ? Pandora gets more minions, and Wyrd is simply put up different stats for the sins.
  5. Thanks notmikehill! That was exactly the kinf of info I needed. I've played against Deneghra, but couldn't pull her off. Might have better luck with Rasputina. Never played against or with Rhyas Saeryn. I played Kaya in Hordes, Nemo in Warmachine and grey knights in 40K. So I'm used to being outnumbered. I m also looking at the Neverborn, any thoughts on them?
  6. Started this thread for us Newbies (got the rulebook yesterday). If this is a repeat thread, sysop feel free to delete and or move it. I would like to ask all the experienced players to post some general tips and suggestions. There didn't seem to be a thread for that, so i figured I could start one. I would also like some input and suggestions. I'm actually in a bit of a quandry. I have very limited funds (wife's working, I'm not. Trying for a baby.) So right now at best I can have two crews. I've played the Grey Knights in 40K and Circle of Orboros in Hordes, Cygnar in Warmachine. I'm torn between the following Crews and would like advice: Lady Justice, Rasputina, and the Vicktorias. I don't want to get a crew just because they look cool or are bad ass. I want to LIKE the crew.
  7. 1. Love the feel of the Neverborn. (Pandora= maiden, Lililth= mother z= crone) As a pagan it makes me happy. So a few ideas: The Horned Lord on horseback with Nine Black Wolves. A wicker man construct. A Nephilim human hybrid. (I don't think we need the details of how THAT would come into being!) 2. If Rasputina is ice can we get a Fire Arcanist? (perhaps Rasputina's sister? She's trained in the Guild and has come looking for her wayward younger sister. Determined to "save" her from December wheither she wants it or not) 3. MORE TEN THUNDERS!! and please keep them chinese themed.
  8. Wow! Thanks everyone! I still haven't even GOTTEN the rulebook yet. The Swarm of Teddy's is a cool idea. Thanks for letting me know that exploding bears are not the Neverborn style. I don't even know what faction I'm going to play yet, I was just putting out some ideas for Wyld Games. So the Neverborn aren't into suicide types? Good to know. Hopefully my book will come in today! I'm looking forward to trying the system out. Once I play it a bit I'm sure I'll come up with some ideas.
  9. First off: I haven't played yet, was supposed to this weekend, but my rulebook didn't come in. But my wife, twisted gamer that she is, came up with two ideas for a new troop for the Neverborn. Suicide Bears: Yes stolen from the idea of suicide bombers. Small teddy bears that charge, grab on, and explode. To balance them out I'd say limit their number per group. Second, give them a good chance of exploding if hit by a ranged attack. Swarm Bears: Small teddy bears, (4-5 on a base) armed with knives, that charge an attacker. I'd say, each wound / hit point they suffer removes one bear. Anyway these are just thoughts. I hope you all like them,
