Hi, I'm the owner of Game Theory in Raleigh, NC, and I'm a big time Malifaux Fan. I've been playing the game for a while now, and I was the first store in my area to have a league and really push the awesomeness. I am confused. I've had all the new items on preorder for a while with my local distributors for about 3 months and they say they don't have anything - yet, my customers are coming in with all the new items and ordering from this website. I hope you guys do great, because I love the game, but I'm concerned when I'm leading the Malifaux charge in my area and I am not being supported by the company. I have no posters, no new product, and look like an ass because I just have to shrug when my customer apologize for ordering directly online. They feel guilty about it, but I have to agree with their decision. If they can't get it from me, they have to get it somewhere. I give my customers a 10% discount on everything, and I speak for all the game stores when I say this. If you want Malifaux to become even more popular than it already is, you MUST support the game stores. We provide the place to play, the leagues, and a place where your henchmen can recruit new players. If I can help at all, please let me know. My Malifaux Meetup is the #1 in the world right now, and I have numerous players, and will continue to support my favorite game. 2 of my customers volunteered for the Malifaux booth at GenCon and both of us were in the last scrap. I know that GenCon caused a backlog when it comes to supplying distributors, but it is killing me to have no new product and no way to get any. I had to leave before the final round (only played in 2 rounds), but I loved talking to the guys and it was so much fun. I was really not wanting to leave undefeated, but my roommates were headed back to the room for our early morning Sunday flight, so I didn't want to be that guy. I got a chance to play against Collette in the tourney and she was really tough. It was probably the hardest game of Malifaux I ever played. It would have still been nice to have m'lady Perdita be in first place at the Last scrap. Anyway, I loved meeting some of you guys and look forward to seeing you next year. Rob

Looks like a good list, but the best 30 point list I've seen (and it works against most all crews) is the following: Perdita Primordial Magic (gives you 7 cards and 9 -any suit Obey) Hamelin (destroys corpse/scrap counters within 6" as 0 action - this is a 14" diameter awesomeness. Several Control Spells and 10 wounds) Convict Gunslinger or Ronin (works awesome with obey, moves like lightning, ignores armor, and gives you 2 soulstones with Hard to Kill) Papa Loco or Nino 5 or 6 soulstones (7 or 9 if you kill the Ronin) I'd take Nino/Convict Gunslinger for Reconnoiter, and the Papa/Ronin for all others.

As a game store owner and Malifaux fanatic, I want to thank all my customers that are participating in our first Malifaux League! And I would also like to thank all the game stores in my area that DON'T carry this awesome game - which means more Malifaux fans come to my store LOL selfish I know. I use the following for obeyliciousness...and I've lost 4 games out of over 50. Perdita Papa Loco Hamelin Primordial Magic Convict Gunslinger (or Ronin) and 3 Soulstones I try to get Papa Loco into the other side and blow him to hell and back...or...Pipers Lure someone off the board in the first round using the 3 obeys, and 2 pipers Lures at my disposal. I use it constantly and it's almost a no brainer. You need very mediocre cards (as long as you aren't attacking a Master) and you can get masters easy enough if you eat through their soulstone pool early.
