Which Outcasts Models to take, why and how much SS it will cost me?

When you write this list up do you count Viks and Lucius as a Master? And thus Lucius would cost no SS? Otherwise how are the viks able to hire him? Also in regards to Von Schill and Lucius being in the same list: Can a Henchman as a master(Lucuis) hire a Merc Henchman (Von Schill)? If Lucius were in a Lady J list could she simultaneously hire Von Schill? -
How many do you anticipate having for the tourney? Do you have an active local groups that will be playing. I'm coming in from an hour away possibly.

I moved away from GW a while back, into Reaper MSP. Is Vallejo superior to Reaper, or do they just have a larger market share and therefore more users? Are folks using Model or Game Color? A mixture? Can anyone who has used both comment on differences between Reaper and Vallejo?

My favorite way to work with hard to glue models is super glue and styrofoam. Cut a tiny piece of foam from a dinner take-out box or the like. Doesn't take much. Mash it into the hole or around the peg. Apply superglue. Sets quick and I find it to be stronger than superglue and greenstuff.

Possible to get a more definitive ruling on this? I just started playing Justice and I want to get this right. Personally it doesn't seem like it would effect her but the people here arguing otherwise make what seem to be valid arguments.

I juste ordered a Guardian. Great suggestion. I think that will round out my options for her nicely. Do many of you ever play her with Lucius. I really want to pick him up next and would love to hear any suggestions on how to run him with Lady J.

I just started playing Justice myself. She is my second master. The comments here are very insightful. I especially liked your's bigasb. Really made me think about how to combo all of the buffs to get a much higher dmg yield. Using combat prowess to give the DM that cast Finish the Job an attack seems like a great way for that crew to play more efficiently. When you stack all the buffs that crew can generate it gets nasty. I wonder how well a Student of Combat would fit into this? Allowing for more buffs and attacks. These are exactly the models I have painted, The Lady J Box + 2 Austringers. I look forward to trying to get off an Austringer + Greatsword alpha strike for an early or well timed Inspirational Sword Play.

I find this to be a big issue for me as well. I love color, I am too particular about how I want the crew to match up, and I I have a huge collection of paints now. I am undergoing this process with my first Guild models now. Here's a tip: A pro painter suggested this at Gencon. Print out a b&w image of the model in question. Paint the actual colors over the B&W image like a coloring book. She said its a great way to visualize w/o wasting the time on models. You can even shade and highlight. I'll be giving it a try this weekend. Apart from that and getting started. EYES. The easiest way for me to screw up a model I've spent hours on.

Hey, I believe you were the guy rocking second place in the Last Scrap with Levi. Grats btw. I was the guy not rocking so much with Levi... I wanted to pick your brain at the Con but got sidetracked. Are you functionally killing him every time turn from turn 1? That is my biggest issue. Are able to get in range to start getting off the spells that cause him damage + death's lessons? Or are you having to pop him with Alyce from time to time. My biggest issue is not getting off the right spells b/c my cast fails and then leaving him hanging at 2-3 wounds @ closing phase. Any tops would be appreciated. Ray

Check out Game Theory if you haven't already. They have a pretty hot scene with 20-30 players. I just finished a league there in July and they had a tournament (which I was unable to attend) this past Sat.

I ended up painting my Wyrd waifs in a dark blue/bluish white spirit scheme and they turned out alright I think. I know what you mean about them though. I love your Engine. I am working on mine now and did not stray from the Wyrd sculpt. Its the head that bothers me. It looks like an evil gorilla or something. Your conversion is spot on! If possible could we see him from the back as well. I also love your paint scheme for him. Very fitting for an Industrial Nightmare.

I have been playing Blessings like this I am assuming this is the ruling. I usually use it to ensure a Steampunk Abom w/o needing the suit in the cards I also just noticed Bette's double crows triggers. Another good combo for this. I am assuming that if you flurried you could potentially empty sombodiess hand calling the Slit Jugular Trigger on every attack. Haven't played Bette yet.

Getting ready to place an order. I was wondering if it's worth buying a 2nd Engine for my Levi crew. Anyone ever, or regularly have more than one up in a game?... 30-35 SS bracket. I have yet to but I haven't run him that much yet. On a similar note. Anyone ever need more than 6 abom?
