I’m pretty sure Shadowopal was dealing with items left in the passenger compartment melting (or softening), not things in the trunk.  Especially with untinted windows...  I wouldn’t want to test certain resins or plastics against that.

Yeah. My car isn't very sun proof. I live in a mild climate for heat most of the year and have a garage. So don't park on the street much. But each time I get caught by the heat unawares it surprises me.

Jebus, was it full of water?  Where do you live, the Sun?

LOL no. It was empty. I live in Chicago. Just couldn't find shade parking. It was an extremely hot day. It was a dumb thing to leave in the car. It all adds up. It didn't melt to a puddle of plastic. But there was a hole starting by the time I got back.

Yikes, stories like that make me glad I live in good old freezing cold Canada!

Funny thing is I live in Chicago. We only have hot days like that for a few weeks. I can't imagine what Southern states go through in the summer.

IIRC Fated Almanac and Fatemaster's Almanac were the first edition versions of the Core rulebook for second edition and everyone just needs the core book and any expansions you're using now.

This is correct. 2e Core book replaces the Fated and Fatemaster Almanacs both in one book with updated rules and clarifications.

Well, what do I want to know....?

How’s the book overall, thumbs up?

What’s the full list of pursuits?  Particularly interested in the Enchanter.

Anything particularly interesting in there that we might not know about?

Appreciate any info or thoughts you can share really. A bit gutted I decided to wait for release.

    1) Haven't read much yet. Flipped through. Looks great as always.

    2) Bureaucrat, Commander, Gunner, Mage Wright, Marksman, Propagandist. Advanced pursuits= Executioner, Guild Lawyer, Mage Killer, Soulstone Aficionado, Witchling Handler.

    3) I am enjoying how the book breaks down the hierarchy, methodology and recruitment and training in the various divisions of the Guild. Also the history of the Guild is good in that it finally answers the questions of where the guild came from definitively.

Haven't gotten much further than that. The new tarot is fun as well. You get a Vice card that you can swap out for any other flip on the Ram's Head tarot. It gives your character one of 6 vices (based on suit/joker) that shows how the guild is corrupt. If your character decides to up her standing in the guild, she has to give in to the corruption. At least that is my spin ;)

  6. I like the fact that I can download everything at once to my tablet and read it without data connection. It is a good mix of topics. I am afraid that blogs don't keep things varied enough. Admittedly, I don't follow blogs. So not the most informed on the topic. But the few that I have visited seem pretty focused. I also like the magazine layout of the Chronicles. I keep wishing on every star I can find for a print version.
