  1. Nice start. Congrats on your first full size.
  2. Nice work! All of your figs are beautiful.
  3. So when will the new Masters be available for the signatures? I want my gigantic Lord Chompy Bitz icon :gone:
  4. I've got a message into the site to see if they will be releasing custom foam for it. As the bag is smaller than their others, none of the current sizes fit. I'm hoping it won't be difficult for them. I loves me some custom cut foam.
  5. Excellent sence of motion on Pandora's base. All the paint jobs are well done. I love purple sorrows. I'm starting mine soon. Need to get them based.
  6. Sunshine is fabulous! The yellows are perfect. nicely done. I loathe painting yellows and reds. But, you pulled them off stunningly.
  7. Those are excellent! Nice concepts and the designs look pretty smart. Well done.
  8. Not true. Link remains the same. Assuming you're logged in that is.
  9. I don't know the references. But, I agree with daemonkin. Whatever gets you painting. Go with it.
  10. The silurid are a bit off. I always pin my figs and fill the gaps anyway. So, it wasn't an issue for me. But, I can see others being miffed about it.
  11. If you send the entire qish list to your email, there will be a link in the email. But, you're right...a button would be handy.
  12. Bayou, Neverborn architecture, ruins, Gremlin village, scrapyard, pagodas, old west main street, victorian buildings main street, train depot, mining community, indian village, gothic castle, graveyard, any other sets I've started planning in my head to build .
  13. I'm looking into rooms. Cash is tight right now. But, if I can find a decent hotel rate, I'll be there. Not looking good at this point. I'm hoping my buddy is going and I can car pool and room with him which will cut my cost immensly.
  14. Yeah! Scrap yard set! I want one too . Looking good.
  15. Love the base and would be interested in purchasing some castings if you ever make molds of them. Also think your Ramos is fantastic too. Doc Oc is one of my favs.
  16. Thanks for that link! They will be stealing a lot of my hard earned cash. I love those pieces. I want them all.
  17. Excellent stuff. I'm really looking forward to getting my crews painted. Just waiting for my bases to arrive. Thanks for keeping me inspired.

    Howdy

Well, if you are going to play the game, you need the rulebook. So, I would start there and figure which faction appeals the most. and pick a starter box from that faction and get some games in. If you just like the minis and want to paint /collect, well then....spend some time on the online store and pick a few or a boxed set if you like to get more minis for your buck. Oh yeah...and welcome....and Howdy!
  19. Vallejo for everything and GW foundations for reds and yellows basecoats. GW inks for washses and glazes.
  20. I love the bags too....but TWO STORIES? Really? Why?
  21. Fantastic thread. I love the narrative. The painting is very clean and well done. Kudos on your crew!
  22. Nice! I'd make a mold regardless of what you plan to do with them. Molding is easy and cheap. That way if you decide you need more later, you've got the mold.
  23. Just a note. Battle foam does make pluck foam as well. A better version pluck foam than most (if not all) in my opinion. The walls are sturdier. I don't care what bag you're using if the foam is bad. You're figs are doomed. Not at Jim: And I'm still not convinced on the bad customer service. Yes, I've had one bad experience. But BF handled it. it sounds to me like someone just woke up on the wrong side of the bed that day or was ticked off that the order wasn't right and all the customer service in the world wouldn't pacify him/her . Which I can understand. But, I always take second hand accounts with a grain of salt.
  24. That's cool. hope you picked up a rulebook. You'll want that before you pick anything else up .
