So I already have the excellent Alt Rogue Necromancy so was going to pass on the Salty Seadevil but something just occurred to me. Like many I do not have an Archie and no way to get one. Would it be too confusing if I got a Salty Seadevil and put the Pirate hat on him then used him as Aaarchie? I honestly wish they had made the Seadevil an alt Archie to begin with, it would solve so many issues for the company and players.

@ghost00 I would rather not split up the McMourning box set at this time. @daniello_s It looks like shipping to Ireland would be about $22.50 at the lowest. Probably not worth it even if we split the costs. Also the lot is now pending anyway waiting on payment by Money Order. I will update all this in a few days time!

The thing to remember with any plastic LE (except for possibly the exception below) is that Wyrd will eventually re-release it either as a tourney prize or during a Black Friday sale. Barbaros hasn't been available since last Black Friday (and then required a steep buy-in) so right now I could easily see him selling for $35 to $40 dollars. Eventually he will probably be sold by Wyrd again for there standard $25 price though. His price will drop for a bit then go back up between sales. The Santana Ortega LE fig got up to about $100 before Wyrd rereleased them as a tourney prize and the price dropped back around $50. The exception to all this is TTB Hannah. As a Kickstarter exclusive it is possible it will never be re-released. I usually saw her sell for around $100, but I haven't seen many offered these days so I wouldn't be surprised if the price is moving up a bit. $225 sounds like a best case scenario and a statistical outlier to me though.

@GOTH The plastic dogs are Canine Remains, so no official Nix is there. That said I can see what you mean about how close the models look! @Blackdrive I will PM you about it.

Hey there! With the Easter sale up I find myself wondering if it is worth picking up Night Terrors early. Honestly I've never really felt like I needed them on the table and the only obvious use I see for them is tying up ranged models. My meta is blessedly light on Guild so they would be fairly niche for me. That said I love the models and I am curious what kinda tricks other people are using them for! Why should I get the Night Terrors and how often do you include them in lists?

So far Guildball has shown itself to be excellently balanced, though it is very young compared to most of the other big games. When they did see a potential for imbalance they quickly issued an errata to head off problems. Guildball and Malifaux have easily become my favorite minis games, though I still play more Warmachine because my local shop is so focused on it.

Did your group play other miniature groups before Malifaux? It sounds to me like maybe you are just a better player then your friends. Big fish in a little pond happens quite often in small groups and that is where you see the overall "meta" of competitive games become meaningless. As I'm sure you are aware Dreamer is by no means considered broken on the Malifaux tournament scene (in fact Levi is the only Master you really here that applied to in the whole game). Are your friends picking schemes that play to their strengths and work well against your playstyle? Are they focused on VPs are just chewing up your summoned models in a meaningless attrition meat grinder? Finally are you sure that your group is playing the rules correctly (like summoned models getting Slow)?

That bird would make an amazing Carrion Emissary, a shame it doesn't seem to be for sale currently.

So it looks like the Hanging Trees will be part of the Black Friday special. Are these still usable as alternate Hanged? I tried to research it but I think the switch from 1.5 to 2E has clouded the issue. Some threads say yes and some say the base size is wrong.

I'm not sure it's all scalpers to be honest. Some are sure, but if I have to put in $300 on my own I am pulling money out of funds I should save for other things and intend to recoup as much as I can by selling the figs I never wanted in the first place.

Did we get any word if the December releases will be included? I definitely want a Brotherhood of the Rat box and probably a Lone Swordsman too.

As much as I want to I don't think I will make it to $300. A shame because I have no interest in Firestarter and would love to have Barbaros or Dufresne instead. I am not even 100% sure I will get to $150, but I have been holding off on Wyrd purchases for awhile holding out to see what Black Friday will hold. I will probably get two of Aionus since I also would like to try taking the guy off the top to use the clock.

Hello there! For those who aren't aware The Crucible is possibly the largest competitive wargaming Con in the Southeast US. It is held in Orlando and this coming year the dates will be March 17th-20th. The have a huge presence for Warmachine and a variety of other games and have even picked up Guild Ball this year. I know there probably isn't a large enough Malifaux presence around here for a tournament (yet!) but I was hoping to find out if anyone else plans to attend and will be bringing some Crews along. I figure we can maybe pick a day to snag some spare table space and get a few games in! If you plan to attend let us know!
