  1. So far the only good US remake of a UK show was Men Behaving Badly. I never like the Office UK and don't watch the US one either so I can't judge. Ricky Gervaise never really did it for me. I couldn't imagine a Father Ted that wasn't Irish.
  2. I totally agree that Nathan should be made aware of this so I can get one. While I can proxy using my Wardog, I'd rather have something closer to the artwork.
  3. My Sonia crew is currently on cork tiles and cut wine bottle corks. Once they're done (the bases) I'll post pics. I picked up some basing materials from Skullworks.com a while back. His leaf scatter is awesome!
  4. Dental/diekleen pasters have resin bits in them which makes them MUCH more durable than plaster of paris. They may be a little heavier than plaster of paris but PoP can't take a drop from 5-7 feet like dental plasters can.
  5. Next year I finally get to break my 15 year GenCon boycott! The funny thing is that Milwaukee was as far from where I lived in Chicago as Indy is from where I live in St Louis. Six Flags Great America may have been why a trip 1/2 the distance took twice as long as normal. I have to start saving now to be sure that two adults and a 9 year old will be able to vacation in lovely Indy and go to a few days of GenCon. Maybe I'll have to find some way to volunteer at a booth or somesuch.
  6. This is a good deal. I wish I could take advantage of it, but real life is getting in the path of my hobbies in a big way.
  7. Not to venture too far afield, but I've usually used either die stone or Merlin's Magic as opposed to plaster. I had a few molds but lost them at some point in the last two moves. I'm thinking about just picking up a #40 basic and a Prison Tower mold which should give me enough variety of blocks to build quite a bit to start with.
  8. Doesn't Lillith ignore terrain for LOS?
  9. I was wondering how well Hirst Arts molds and blocks would work for Malifaux. Now I know that I'll have to get some.
  10. ... is when you don't realize that you use your tounge to shape your bristles until you switch to non-water based paints. ...is when you are finally able to tell what brand of paint you're using by taste as well as scent. ...is when you find the last xacto blade you lost after it embeds itself in your foot.
  11. I've been playing WM for a long time and Hordes for a few years. I definately don't have a good w/l record but I do enjoy both games. I just don't get out as much as I would like to, that's for sure. I totally agree that Hordes is fun, just give it a try. 15 pt Tooth n Claw games are a hoot!
  12. I am *SO* kicking myself. My son had two of those sets from Toys-r-Us and we left them behind when we moved to St Louis...now I have to go buy one again.
  13. My wife has the numerical version of dyslexia (discalculia) so the cards vs dice mechanic may work better for her. Also, the smaller number of minis = good thing from just a monetary end. She's making noises about 'not having anyone to play with' due to time constraints (I'm 30-45 minutes from the shop that tends to have games and not free the nights that folks meet there...) so if I can get her hooked on this one it'll make it easier to play. *waves to his local Henchan*
