  1. Thank you for the reply. I am one of the lucky few to get one, I just haven't had time to even open it yet.
  2. If you have multiple models with rush of magic, how do you resolve it? Do you draw 8 cards then discard 2? Does only the first ability get to resolve so you draw 7 and discard one? Do they resolve individually so you draw 7, discard, then draw, and discard again? I meant to ask at Gen Con, but forgot while I was actually there. It seems like you would draw 8 and discard 2 as they are abilities and not conditions which need numbers to stack.
  3. The way I understand it is if you place the new model gets its full activation, but if you replace it the new model takes all the leftover action points. So in your example, if the Dreamer uses nightmare friend to bring LCB out after walking twice, LCB only gets melee expert. The Dreamer had used both general ap he gets and LCB replaced him, taking over any leftover ap.
  4. I have played around with him a few times. The main issue is there aren't a lot of dolls out right now so not too many options for crews. You basically get 3-4 maniquiens, stitched together, and wicked dolls. You can make a nasty 25 point list, but I think anything higher will give you trouble as a horde of wicked dolls will only go so far against an opponent. I really like how incredibly fast the crew is. It can catch someone by surprise if they aren't expecting it. I can easily get his whole crew across the table on turn one and do some damage to my opponent. One thing I have noticed is that Collodi himself is very much there for support as opposed to being the heavy hitter of your crew. He plays very differently than the other NB crews I run like dreamer and lilith due to his lack of damaging spells or abilities. All that being said, I am looking forward to the next book and new dolls. He definitely has a lot of potential, but like Molly there's not a lot of his special forces out now. At this point I have only been using him to run his own crew. I have been trying to think of good lists to run him with the dreamer or another master to see how he fairs.
  5. For that many points I would bring in at least 2 daydreams as you need to have one out on the board to bury LCB after he smashes face. Stitched together are quite fun to play with, one or two of them should be good. Bringing a lot (3-4) of alps can work well with the dreamer as you can drop them all nearby your opponents models and make them sad. I have done well with Coppellius, he has a lot of utility with his various ways of paralyzing as well as being able to summon more alps for you. I don't know how well multiple teddies will do, when I played with them they were never able to do as much as I would like for the points. For 35 points one teddy would probably be ok, unless you really want to have both. This would free up more points for coppellius and alps.
  6. One of the tricks I use with Nico and Nurses is to Nurse up a punk zombie with stimulants and reactivate. Then have him destroy some enemies with his 11cb +damage flip. After hes done with both his activations use Nico to drain his soul into a soul stone. This saves you from sacrificing the model for nothing at the end of the turn and gets you a soul stone. You will be playing undead so who cares if your army is at -1 wp?
