  5. I'm in!! Show up what you've got montrealers!! (and people from other places that are in Montreal when this happens!)

  7. The primordial Magic eating a kid is brilliant!! Please, Could we have more ''group shots'' of your army? It looks absolutely amazing (from what we can see)
  8. I must admit that the ''extended engine'' on your Steamborg is killer (in a good way : D) If you're looking for a drill you could check some minis from Monsterpocalypse: there's a monster with a giant drill on his head and it seems it would fit...Else you can order a Drill from a Dwarven Warjack from Warmachine. And now I'm impatiently waiting to see the female steamborg (brilliant idea!!)
  9. Thanks guys! I worked on Steamfitter Johan (not for this crew though) yesterday night, I'll probably post pics of him and Colette soon. The smiley face is the crew symbol and a way to unify it visually .(I also used similar colors: hormagaunt purple and underbelly blue on most minis to try and unify the Joke Crew) The convict gunslinger is my favorite model out of the whole crew...him and the blue samurai zombie punk (but too bad the picture is of poor quality: that guy's face is awesome) I have a tournament coming up soon so I won't have too much time to work on better pictures (I think for that I'd need a better camera in the first place), at least I'll work on more minis, all these kind comments are motivating!
  10. Thanks guys for the nice comment (well then, I'll go to my painting station right now!)
  11. Hello visitor :) If you're in Montreal, come check Gamers' Vault, I work there and I try to make it THE Malifaux store (well its kinda already in Montreal)...

  12. Hello guys, I paint slowly and usually don't post pictures of my work because I'm really bad at taking and posting pictures, but I thought I'd share this crew with you. Well, I tried to post at least one picture but I can't have it in a proper size so instead I'm going to give you a link to my blog where I put pictures of the whole crew (and some fluff). http://focusfurysoulstones.blogspot.com/ Hope you like it! (And feel free to leave any comments here or on the blog) I'll have an executioner as ''The Batguy'', future project will include modding a flesh construct into 'Bane' and painting a Seamus as 'The Riddler'. (But I'm mostly going to paint regular Malifaux minis not like super-heroes, its Malifaux, not Heroclix afterall )(although its a lot of fun to turn Malifaux Models into something else)
  13. I personnaly made flat rooftops and then sanded them and painted them black as if it was tar. It allows for climbing and its easy to do and looks okay. (although it might be too sophisticated for gremlins...)
  14. Out of the thirteen people at my tournament, you, the only one who did'nt wanted to Win LCB had to win it. Think about the offer the store made, it will be easier faster and we could put as a prize for people who actually want to keep the mini and not trade/sell it. (I personnally went to Gencon to get it as a prize so a regular player could field it proudly at the store painted...)
  15. Well there's Gamers' Vault now! Same place as the defunt GW used to be, the store is carrying Malifaux and has plan to support even more the game in the near future. As soon as I have time (after Gencon I think) I'll try to organize Malifaux-nights or a Campaign, but if you want there's already a couple of people playing if you don't have the patience to wait for events.
  16. No clue sorry, that's also the reason why after a certain point (when I learned I would soon be job-less) I lost interest in doing a battle report...Even if I really liked the scenarios (fight in catacombs under a street). I'll check as to where in Montreal Malifaux players can play, and eventually, where there's players, there's products to be bought. Have a good one.
  17. Hey Wandering guy, You never showed me the full painted golem ... Glad to see you posted on Wyrd forums , you could'nt keep these beautiful convertions all for yourself! @ Xenon: I have no problem with his drybrush, the golem might be a little too blue, but still, a nice paintjob for a really cool golem.
  18. Hello, We're working on a Battle-report...with pictures! Well, in term of attendance, I was a little disapointed (because I know twice as many players that could'nt make it for x reasons)...Not to lie or anything, there was 4 players plus me. (Okay, I have to admit, the day was'nt the best day neither, just before university exams week, we'll take that too into account next time) As for the community, I'm working on it and hopefully next time, we'll be three times the number of players. But stay tuned...If you missed this event, its not a big deal because we have many other things planned. Next should be in May...but that should'nt stop any of you to schedule a regular game and play Happy Crew-Wrecking and Soulstone-stealing! Guru
  19. Bring your crew (25 soulstones) for 3 games that will bring you to total control of Tombstone Street's soulstones...or in the street's gutter with your throat slit. APRIL 10th 2010 at noon @ Gamers' World 4986 Queen Mary, Montreal Qc. (for more informations or a message in french http://www.gamersworld.ca or 514-788-5389) There's 5$ entry fee, prizes based on participation. May the best man win! PS: We pay taxes on every Malifaux item until the tournament!!! (If we have them in stock, but we'll also restock so you get more choice) For those who already placed an order, rejoice as you'll also benefit from the discount!
  20. Hi, I'm Guillaume, a 20-years old Game Store salesman (Miniatures and Tabletop) in Montreal (Canada). I Apologize for my english as I'm Francophone and a little rusty with the written english. As a gamer, I tried a lot of games (for my age) and played many big names, I won't write about them there as the only important thing to remember is: I'm Starting Wyrd! Bought two starters, a rulebook+sets of cards and am eager to try out the game. In the near future (in a matter of weeks) I will run a Wyrd League in the store, I'll create a topic accordingly with pictures and stories. I'm sure the Wyrd forums will prove to be of great help and inspiration as much as the book was fantastic. (great job on it by the way, of all the game books I red, this is by far one of the best) And well, if you ever happen to visit the game store I'm working for, I'll be happy to have my crew wreck yours for the soulstone market control!
