  1. I've played minis on sanded boards, so I know what those are like, and I'm not at all surprised. Even with latex paint, it's still abrasive. Thing is, felt is cheap, and *great* for cards.
  2. I'm sorry, but you totally screwed up there by painting on what is, for all intents and purposes, coarse sandpaper. Next time, lay down some felt!
  3. This is not uncommon for a variety of board games. The best solution is to make the board very humid (e.g. steam it), then slowly dry it pressed flat so it dries without any warpage.
  4. 2 mini-expansions or an alternate starter (with rules & board)? Personally, I'm of a mind for the alternate starter, simply because it opens the door for a completely different board, and it's less total boxes of stuff to deal with. As a 2-player game, each player could have a rulebook for reference.
  5. I'd like PDFs of the PWU rules and PWU puppets, please. ____ or, let me buy a PWU rulespack.
  6. The mini-expansion you propose would have 2 Masters, 5 Sidekicks, and 3x12 Pawns, plus Teddy = 44 models - same as the current starter. I'm good with that, but it's not any smaller than Unstitched. It's really more of an alternative starter. Definitely need at least Teddy in any expansion for how hard they were to get in metal. I am not happy that they were so rare - someone who bought all 4 of the expansions should have gotten at least one. With basically a full starter's worth of models, a different-shaped board would be nice, perhaps 12" x 18", to enable different scenarios.
  7. It is harder to write a smoother, simpler game versus kitchen-sinking things with lots of rules and exceptions. Given the choice and scale, simpler is better. An expansion would be nice, even if to just complete the set based on everything previously released as part of the original PW. PWU + PWUx = PW.
  8. Like many others, I bought a full set of PW - game, all 4 expansion sets, etc. I would like a PWU rulespack consisting of the PWU rulebook and PWU cards so that I can move forward to the current edition of the rules. I accept that PW has more models than in PWU, and I am OK to play them "treat as" or "count as" some official PWU model. I do not understand why some people are so obstinate about now making it easy for those who spent more on PW to move to PWU rules.
  9. Thanks, everyone. It looks like I'll be following something like this: M Pandora (Master) 1 Kade (6 SSs) 1 Teddy (9 SSs) 3 Sorrows (9 SS) Add Candy (8 SSs) for larger games Buying-wise, this is the Pandora starter + Teddy, so it's easy. Thanks, again!
  10. I very much like the Teddy model, but it's not clear what Crew he would work best in. Lilith seems to be all about Nephilm, and Pandora seems to want Candy & Cade. Zoraida seems to focus on swamp monsters. So if one were going to field Teddy, how would you suggest doing this? Thanks in advance!
