  1. Exactly. They have become even more critical then before even if one of their primary uses is now shafted a bit. Without Daydreams, all those list have very large flaws to them and are a lot slower then they could be. What the Daydreams did for the Crew (ie not the Dreamer/LCB) has not been effected by the Errata/cuddle. Instead, what they did for the Dreamer & more specifically LCB has been heavily effected. They can still pull off a long bomb strategy and many of the pre-existing play styles are still intact, they just carry a heavier cost now then they did before. But the perception shift is the real kicker here. Because his previous best strategy (long bomb) is now a little slower and more costly, it makes strategies focused around his crew a lot more favorable. To say that Daydreams were not an integral part of this is basically madness. Their roll and responsability has grown as any list focusing on his crew will require about 2 of these little buggers to maxamize his mechanics and the potential speed of the crew. So as my mantra has always been, you want Daydreams with the Dreamer. Hands down, they are the best use of your SS/totem slot.
  2. Ehhhh yeah slight confusion there, I can see what you mean. After so many drafts you just read them both the same way and that's how we missed it. They do mean the same thing though... just basically flipped. One approaches it from the perspective of the Card being flipped for Animation while the other approaches it from the perspective of the Puppet. Thanks for catching this though! *marks it on his clip board*
  3. *wanders in* Morning all! So... what the Bruins did to Toronto last night was just ... well.... amazing Bruins crushed them 8 to 0. By the end of the 2nd period, Bruins had more goals then Toronto had shots on net. Also Lucic had a fantastic fight against Micheal Komisarek (fights been brewing since 2009) who learned not to mess with our big man in the Black and Gold XD All in all... Bruins are getting back to where they should be! ---------- Post added at 07:41 AM ---------- Previous post was at 07:38 AM ---------- Oh and Devils (New Jersey) vs the Rangers (New York) was equally awesome last night! Little bit of Hockey tango going in here ;D http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nhl-puck-daddy/devils-vs-rangers-bloody-brawl-off-opening-faceoff-002254198.html Edit: Dirrect video link: http://video.nhl.com/videocenter/console?catid=35&id=166067 Man I love this game ^^
  4. Not a big change here, but the last sentence has been reworded to be much clearer and open up some more possibilities. Can’t Say No to You (6 + Discard 1 Card): Rg: 1, Effect: Target Puppet immediately performs one Action chosen and controlled by you. This Action can not be one with an Additional Cost which would Tear Apart the Puppet. To head off the question, this includes additional costs that state "Tear Apart" the puppet AND additional costs that require the user to take a Rip which would be the Puppets last rip. So ex: you couldn't use Can't Say No to You to make a Punk Zombie with 1 Stitch left perform Powerful Rot because it's Additional Cost would Tear Apart that Puppet.
  5. Hey, I am personally a huge fan of walls'o'text Good thoughts and glad your enjoying the game! Same to everyone, great ideas and keep them rolling. We are actually reading this and considering what you say, so type away!
  6. *wanders in looking shabby and generally exhausted* Morning all! Been a 42 hour week so far... how long can today last? *twitch* Any way, hows everyone been doing?
  7. I like it! That looks pretty good already and you could definitly make a rather nice board out of it. If I may ask, where did you get the tiles from?
  8. Excellent! Glad they arrived! That's lame about the Card. You may want to look into emailing Wyrd about that and seeing what they say because you can't really play with a marked card like that, and sleeving that whole deck is rather pointless. Try sending a mail with a picture of the defunct card in question to: nathan@wyrd-games.net and detail whats up. If they think it warrants a replacement, they'll hook you up can't hurt to try. By replacable he means that they sell them seperately, the Puppet Wars deck of cards that is. So you can buy a new one if one wears out. As for the Box etc... yeah, it's not as great as we would like. But lets just say things are in the works and thankfully you don't need the box to play the game! As for the Rulebook, floppy Rule Books tend to last longer then stiff ones I've found. Their binding holds up a long longer and its easier to pin them open etc. But yeah, I would love to see a leather bound Puppet Wars Rule Book XD gold embossing... glossy pictures... But still... welcome to the war! Now... PAINT! @.@
  9. Yeah I'm with Hugor, you don't really need to sleeve them. They are prelaminated for your enjoyment and rather durable, so it all depends on how rough you and your group are with handling them. You certainly won't lose anything by Sleeving them (though they are an akward size!), but I don't really think you need to. Wet Erase marker wipes right off.
  10. Happy Birthday Nilus!

  11. *Squishes in like a stress ball and reforms to normal* Morning eggy *taps his head* How goes it all?
  12. *Slowly descends from.... some where up above, and sits on AB's head*
  13. *a massive claw slowly rises out of AB's shadow, looming well over him before snatching him up and pulling him into his own shadow with a "boit" sound* Oi oi oi, ya gotta keep to code AB! Just like I can't talk about what you did with the butter after that 3 bottle of Syrup...... ooops... *vanishes in a puff of smoke*
  14. *thumps AB* What did I say about talking about it! They can't ever know....
  15. Which is totally one of my tricks, she stole it *nods* @AB: You can't ever speak of that day remember? *shakes fist at menacingly*
  16. *Poors Maple Syrup all over AB* Welcome back from Lunch Backe for the rest of a hard days work skipping out on doing work huh? ;D
  17. People are stupid DA 1 was such an amazing game that DA 2 could not possibly live up to all the expectations. They were doomed from the start because of how earth shatteringly good the first one was, and fan boys do what they do best... whine If there was gripe I would subscribe to though it would be that there was not quite enough variety in environments as there could have been. I spent a LOT of time in that city but the whole thing made it well worth it. That fight at the end of the game is one of my favorite final boss fights ever It was also crazy hard O.o
  18. I'm probably going to skip ME3, I didnt really like the first one. Mainly my issue was... Sephard is just not an interesting charact IMO, the game was either dreadfully easy or wtf hard (yeah Im talking to you walker tank spanning right next to me after a cut scene), and the Maco was so incredibly annoying after the first planet. But that said... I really wish I could get into it! I love Sci Fi! And the universe looks amazing and it's freaking BIOWARE! Though I hear ME 2 fixed most of my issues I had with it... On Dragon Age.... yes yes yes 1000000000000x yes. If your reading this and not playing that game... your doing something very very wrong @.@ Can you tell I love those games? I just really love that style of combat, the story is so engaging and the characters are all amazing. Even the main character has depth to him (which is rare in the "chosen one" scenarios) and the whole love story with Morigan had me chomping at the bit until the DLC came out. Even then.... I need to know what happens! O.o please Bioware! *begs* Great games
  19. Well glad to hear things are better but sucks that they ever had to be. Either way, hope it keeps clearing up! Power on through! *Straps a jet engine to Chocobo*
  20. *harpoons Chocobo* OI! Where you been at boyo! We missed ya Hows things going?
  21. Nope. They are just getting a tad unstable.... the next one will probably be horribly mutated in some way. *rubs beard and shrugs* Need to the magic a bit more of a rest, flagrant use of it is an abuse after all. *sips soup*
  22. Morning. And nope, no more new Monoliths remember? *sips soup*
  23. *wanders in* I heard my name I thought..... *sips some soup*
