I should have thought of posting here earlier! We're having a 30 stone (fixed army) tournament at the Toy Soldier in Amesbury MA tomorrow at 11AM. $10 entrance fee. 3 round tournament. Scenarios to be announced at the event.

16 starters sold so far. I'm picking up a second to become a henchman. Been running mini demos to great effect. Halloween should push this over the top. This is a very fun game!

So, we got the models in yesterday. We have one rulebook, luckily he was willing to travel an hour to bring it into the store so we can try the game out tonight and get ready to run some demos. Well, I'll have to wait another week to let you guys know how it's going. I brought in a bunch of starters and they are moving well but none of my distributors had the rulebook in stock. So... we'll be painting until we get some rulebooks - hopefully next week!

Thanks for the replies! On Saturday I showed our single rulebook to a bunch of our regular gamers. Six of them ordered a starter box and at least a dozen more are waiting to get a demo game. I'm hoping to have 20 players in the store by Halloween. I'm aiming high because the game just looks so unique and fun. I was instantly drawn to Rasputina's mini but I already have several customers interested in her so I will choose something else. I'm drawn to Mizuno (sp?) and wonder if there's a cool build I can make around her? I'm thinking Guild vs Mercenary for demos... but maybe a more storybased setup would be more effective? I wish I had ordered more rulebooks so I could figure this out RIGHT NOW! Thanks again, I'll let you guys know how this week goes!

Heya Gents, My name is Mick and I run the Toy Soldier in Amesbury MA. We play a lot of miniature games and we're very excited to have something new to play! We just got the rulebook in this week and already have a group of players lining up to get starter sets this week. I'm looking forward to reading about all the adventures you've been having in Malifaux! Do any of you have advice for running demos?
