  1. Awesome! Looks creepy and will fit right in with those little psycho kids!

    Sorrows

Ya, use terrain as much as you can, but hey if they're cappin' your sorrows, they aren't shooting at your other more valuable stuff!
  3. Awesome proxy! I was thinking of using a GW plastic dryad, but may need to look into that guy now. Thanks for the link.

    Sorrows

So what kinds of uses have you all be able to come up with for our Sorrows? Here are some I've been thinking of: link to martyr models to soak damage block LOS link to enemy models to tie them up and start slowly draining them (especially good for tying up ranged models and keeping them from shooting) use enemy spells from linked enemy models (haven't explored this yet) use friendly linked spells
  5. How about a waldgeist, should work well with her terrain spell.
  6. After a game, I think I like Candy a little better than Kade, and am looking into taking her with Pandora and some Sorrows for spell-slingin' face melting action and adding in some other harder hitters to take the hits (even better since Candy can heal them up) and beat stuff up. I'm thinking hooded rider or bad juju would be perfect in this roll since they are fast and hit hard. Any thoughts on alternate lists for Pandora that don't just focus on the box set?
  7. Very nice write up. I agree it should be stickied if possible.
  8. Sounds like a nail-biter, which is awesome. Samael sounds like a wrecking crew! How effective or ineffective was the Waldgeist in this game?
  9. Cool report. Makes me look forward to the Lilith box I have coming in the mail!
  10. Man this game is cool. We played our first game of Malifaux a few nights ago. Here's a report: http://oppositionforce.blogspot.com/2009/10/malifaux-throwdown.html Crews were: Rasputina box Pandora box Perdita, Nino, Santiago, Hans Rasputina and her ice pillars (ice warjack and warbeast sculptures in this game) won out this game.
  11. Terrain looks great! How about a rickety wooden water tower? I think that would fit right in.
  12. Our 1st 3 player game ran about 3.5 - 4 hours, but we were learning as we were going. Didn't really drag on though, it was fun the whole way through. The alternating activations definately help with the fun factor, but I can see it slowing things down if you have a player with analysis paralysis.
  13. Awesome! What colors are you using for the blues on the 1st belle?
  14. Looks great man! The punk samurai would look great with some sort of design on his robes if you feel up for it.
  15. The small accessory packs are aslo useful for scatter terrain or incorporation into larger terrain pieces. I've picked up small packs of gravestones and graveyard fences and I've seen lampposts and stuff like that, that could be converted over pretty easily.
