    Was hoping some of the minions would get a buff :( 

    I think bokors are okay as they are still the best healers in faction for a faction that likes hitting itself.

    The Rami nerf seems a bit harsh but justified. I wish for +1 cost they would have added some things to him though aside from just nerfs.

    Francois I wasn't that impressed with him before and I don't think the change is going see more play. 

    Wong looks more interesting, but I still suspect he is by far the weakest master in Bayou. His design just doesn't work and has been complained about since M3E beta.  

    Swine Cursed at least look better.

    The one Cackle was able to identify, Misdirected Rage, can be found on Lyssa (4SS minion with the suit built in on a Stat 4), and Big Brain Brin (Stat 7 but henchman, but also not something you want in the middle of the fray).

    It's still a problem, but it's a lot more cornercase than "she dies to obey".

    Misdirected rage though is limited to only :ToS-Melee: and :ToS-Range: actions. Reva would have to already be standing in something for you to damage her with the trigger while obeying her

  3. I'm curious what the bayou combinations will be.

     

    Rasputina / Wong: Magical BFFs. One was dominated by a tyrant, the other carriers a demon in a bag. That is a sitcom I would watch.

     

    Ophelia / Nellie. After losing the election Ophelia is taking PR lessons from Malifaux's greatest reporter. Nellie goes deep undercover to play queen maker in Bayou politics

     

    Mah / Misaki. Mah takes Brewmaster place of the 10T spy. Don Mah the bayou mafia boss.

     

    Brewmaster / McMourning: nothing says time for surgery like booze

I've heard people complain that Malifaux is pay to win, since the player with more crews to pick from has better options for each pool than a player who only has one crew.  I think titles that offer multiple play styles will help close that gap. 

    I don't want to bring this off topic, but what miniature game is that not true for?

    Feel Merris should bump up when pig fly for Kin to at least yellow. Merris is really helpful to kin and Sammy can summon in flying piig

     

    Tricksy/family

    Gluttony can be really nice these keywords. Family has lots of corpses and moving people into pit traps can do a lot of damage.

     

    Wizz-bang

    Unfortunately I feel they really need Sammy. The rest of the box isn't helpful but she is needed.

     

    Tri-chi

    Akaname should be at least yellow. If you want to run Cooper you will probably need akaname for both poison and they can be good scheme runners.

     

     

     

  6. I see the titles being related to versions of the masters based on the fluff.

    I haven't read the latest Bayou book, but based on previous books can see titles like

     

    Somer: Not Sure

    Ophelia: The Rebel. Furious after losing the vote for Bayou chief Ophelia tries to sabotage  Lenny and gain popularity. Can see her focusing more on hit and run tactics and jumping around the board

    Brewmaster: Double Agent: Focus back on his 10T days. Can see a slightly wider hiring pool and focus more on poison doing damage than controlling

    Wong: (insert demon name here) puppet: Focus on his use of the demon bag and connection to the demon in the bag

    Zipp: Not sure

    Zoraida: Not Sure

    Ulix: Hunter: Focus more on using the bow and causing his pigs to charge. Since he is known for traps and ambushes maybe can start with an extra X amount of Pig models 

    Mah: Not Sure

  7. Sparks has always been very meh in Bayou imo. I do think the changes overall are good for him, but this doesn't change my mind he is an afterthought in Bayou.

    Somer changes seem harsh. I don't think they needed the double nerf on Bayou 2 Card.

     

    I like the summon tokens and the change of how summoning doesn't help with the strategy or scheming as much, but wow is that going to hurt ulix. His entire concept was summoning and growing your muscle and he needs a lot of support to do that (support that is just focused on supporting and slow by itself).

    1) replace cracking energies with

    It's magic, don't question it : If this model is this crew's leader at the start of this models activation all friendly models heal 1 for every 2 Glowy Tokens on that model

    or

    It's magic, don't question it : Models with Infused Body can reduce damage down to 0 

    2) Remove Quick Getaway and give him Magical Influence

    3) FZZZZAP! Remove the part on enemy models gaining glow tokens. 

    Add  :masktrigger: Stagger: models damaged by this action gain staggered 

    add :ToS-Ram: I have The POWER! For every model damaged by this action a friendly model within 6" of this model may gain a glowy token (let you double dip hurting friendlies with this attack)

    4) Add :tome Ten  Demon Bag trigger to Iron Fan of Tsu Li: Enemy Only attach a polymorph upgrade to target model

    5) Remove the glow and add

    Telepor-what dah? Target a friendly model within 6" and place it anywhere within 6" of this model. Then attach a polymorped upgrade to the model

    Polymorphed: Rare 2

    When this upgrade is attached summon a piglet into base contact with the model then bury the model. The piglet is friendly to whatever crew's model is buried by this upgrade. When the piglet is killed, before removing it remove this upgrade and unbury the model in base contact with the piglet.

    Model gains the ability

    Magic Trumps Rules: While this upgrade is attached the model cannot be unburied. 

     

    Olivia: (try to make her useful and not just a 1 turn bomb)

    Add Manipulative

    Add I'm Helping: Friendly Models within :aura4 at the start of their activation may choose to suffer 1 damage caused by this model

    Lightning Bug: (try to give them a niche and differentiate them from Bokors which do a better job healing and buffing the crew)

    :ToS-Ram: Kaboom: Drop a shockwave marker within 3" of target model. Shockwave 2 Mv: 13 Damage: 1

    Remove Healing Energy

    New tactical Action: And you get a buff: Remove X glowy Tokens on this model and redistribute them onto friendly models within 6". Every friendly model that gains a glowy token can be pushed up to 3"

    Give some models in plague the ability to remove Attached Summon Upgrades. Would create some options to work around The Jury while also letting her use her abilities as an anti summoner

     

     

  10. The only change I remember was injuries used to be -1 to your flips making the injuried Wong can throw out actually help his crew.

    He should have been changed to hand out staggered when injury stopped effecting MV duels imo.

     

    I think people complained about how Wong worked the entire beta, especially how he himself interacts with glowy

  11. Why nerf the bokor? I find they are a good model taken frequently ook; but mainly because they are a good healer and bayou likes to self harm a lot. 

    Nerf them and imo people would just change to something like spit hogs.

    Whiskey golem is unfortunately probably more in need of a nerf.

     

    Would add Moon Shinobi to the buff list. Imo they are very over shadowed by fermented River monks

    I would make it more generally so it can be used for future models.

     

    Improvised Attacks: this model change actions may generate non :ToS-Range: actions instead of :ToS-Melee: actions
