  1. Who would you say is the best starting caster for ressers? I've been using nico, and he has potential but might not be the best for learning the mechanics of the game and doing well. Thoughts?
  2. Does anyone know when this sculpt is due out? Also, any idea on what his avatar will look like?
  3. I read a thread a while back with a bunch of ideas for new crews. So I'm reviving that concept and throwing my idea in. Since it's an adult themed game, how about a crew of opium addicts. Say a little chinese guy is the master, and he steals and manipulates the souls of the junkie cowboys that come in. This kind of sticks with the western theme. I think it could be pretty interesting and make for some sweet mini's. Sorry to rehash old ground, but I've been thinking about that for a while. I even have a background story for it.
  4. So I'm going to purchase a couple box sets as soon as they become available. I'm going from a strictly visual stand point in my selection. I want to paint the zombie punks or the Belles, just because George Romero brainwashed me. So I decided to get a set from the Resurrectionists, and can't choose between Nicodem and Seamus. I was wondering if I can get just a brief description of the 2's playstyles. Is one melee and the other spell oriented? Just a brief description would work. I'll order the book with the box set, saves on shipping costs. If I can build interest then maybe I can just pick it up at the local shop. Thanks all.
  5. I'm over in Des Moines. The gaming scene is pretty good around here. Of course mostly for GW stuff. I play Warmachine, but I'm liking the looks of this so maybe I can get some interest going. The box sets are fairly inexpensive so getting a couple sets up and going to demo with, not only to see if others like it but if I do to, should be fun. Iowa a great place to be, it's a little windy, but that's just because Minnesota blows. Rivalry on.
  6. I posted this in the new guy section, but I know that they are commonly overlooked so I'll post here as well. Hi all, I've been admiring the Wyrd mini's for a while now and I'm excited to see that there is a character based game that goes with it. I like the concept. So I'd like to pick up the rule book, but it seems to be sold out all over. So in the meantime I'll ask a question of those that may have it already. If one would be so inclined as to get a couple box sets and the rules book, what would be the box sets to get? And how is the art in the rule book? Glad to see a new game with truly unique models come out. We'll have to see how the card thing works out. Does all the factions have unique decks or is there just one generic set? Does it involve shuffling? Man, I need to score a book. I apologize for the rant.
