Hopefully Wyrd can up the ante and get with a larger distributor soon. Like Alliance for instance. Don't get me wrong, I like Warpath and Efigures. They seem like good folks, but these company's are really small (Efigures is just 1 guy I think). Small distributor=small stocks). I hope that with the new-found interest in Malifaux that soon LGS' can get the product to sell. My LGS for instance, today found out that the order he placed from Warpath on Monday didn't get filled (shipped) because they ran out of stock (IE, Warpath didn't update their totals by the time he ordered). He started an account with Efigures, but they had like, 5items in stock with number's so low that by the time he placed an order the items would more than likely be gone (he was going to try anyways, I for one asked him to order me a second box, just to try to fill the order). He (the LGS owner) is cool with us(the players) getting product direct from Wyrd, but I still prefer to give him the money and not pay shipping. He will then stock in store when Wyrd does a larger re-stock. Shipping BTW seems a tad slow. I placed an order on Monday direct from Wyrd and have not seen it as of yet. I live on the East coast (Maine to be exact) the package was coming from Georgia. It normally doesn't take 4+ days to go from there to here. Hell, I have seen stuff from California make it to Maine in 3 (non-priority). So I'm a little disapointed too, that is the name of the thread...

Don't get me wrong, I'm not "miffed" in any way. I was testing the waters to see what anyone else was thinking. I am in fact happy with the popularity of the game at the moment. I know my LGS in particular tried several different distributors and had little success filling his orders for Malifaux. He did get a few things from a not-local distributor who has at times, not been the most reliable, so I feel he is making the effort on his part. Again I just want to spend my money at my LGS and want the game to succeed, and part of that is making sure that the product is available to a reasonable degree.

I hope that everyone gets their stuff soon! Sounds like things are going as they should. I guess it just seems like demand is up, which is good! I hope the distributors catch on and start getting/keeping things in stock. Thanks!

So my LGS is interested in stocking/ special orders Wyrd mini's for Malifaux but, availability seems to be lean (I had to order direct for my box and cards). The owner supports our interest in the game and understands us getting product direct when it is unavailable via distributor. But, his interest and support is going to be limited if Wyrd doesn't do a restock to distributors soon. I can understand completely! I truly want to give my money to him and support where I play and hang-out. I know also for a fact that if he can get stock our player base will at least double. So, I ask Wyrd: when are distributors going to get their re-stocks? Already there have been special orders at this LGS that cannot be filled. It seems that Wryd direct has plenty of stock on product but the LGS and distributors seem to need a little more support. I know Gencon was busy and some catching up is necessary, I just hope that we can get some support and more interest. I for one would love to see the rulebook and a great selection of boxes and blisters at my LGS! Thanks!

Thanks! Fantastic! I wasn't sure if they would work with Zoraida. I didn't know if it was like WARMACHINE where only certain mercenaries would work with certain factions. I'm excited! I hope to have my models by the end of the week at my LGS. There is +-/6 of us getting into Malifaux at the moment.

I'm new to the game and I don't have any mini's yet or the book. My question is I'm ordering a box to start and some mercenaries. I want to know who will work with The Hag from the Unborn. I'm interested in the Sniper, and Lady Hammerstrike, I also like the Ratcatcher. Will these models work with the Unborn? I thought that it would be cool to have a starter box and bump up to higher points games with a couple of Merc's. Thanks!
