How does it differ from Malifaux?

Do you need all of the ones that are available? What should a new/returning player pick up?

Vans comics and cards (under new ownership) just ordered about 2 grand worth of stuff to try and get the game off the ground.

OK, so there is the second edition rulebook Then Crossroads, is some kind of expansion? New units, ect Then Shifting loyalties is another expansion? Wow, its like Warmachine. When is the next expansion due? Also, why cant I find card decks anywhere. Malifaux is still diceless, right?

Yeah, the stats and decks are confusing to. So Crossroads has the same rules as the core rulebook?

I bought in at launch, have 2 painted starters that have never seen the table. Flashforward to now and a couple people are interested in the game, but I cant answer their questions. What size table do you play it on? How big is an average force? (including model count) is it balanced? Does it lend itself to tournament play? How big of an investment for a crew? (dollarwise) My own question, what book/s do I need to get? thanks
