So, we are in agreement that placing a shockwave marker on a model or making it generate a shockwave is one and the same? This way neither model (wong/pigapult) forces its shockwave model to take the test?

Mindless: When this model is Summoned, it is treated as having already activated this turn, and neither player gains or discards any Pass Tokens. So... Does this means the model counts as actually have activated this turn and can no longer activate this round? Or is it simply being wordy for not generating Pass Tokens when the model is summoned?

So is it or isn't it? This is a fundamental ability of the crew together with the pigapult doing the same thing. If we cant figure this out... FFS

crows with free move out of activation / pinning tokens/ free inspire tokens are ++ the un-gloried marauder is crap, unless you are willing to spend a 10+ on it turn one to glory it, our cav is also iffy unless you summon it in the backline

also remember you can attach multiple different assets to electrocutioners to take advantage of the no card cost, makes for a murder squad especially if you throw in an adjunct.

Honestly if they showed off the samples of all the models it would have silenced us for good during those delay months. Looking at some of the pics people are sharing it looks like the quality is freaking amazing. Get a set of extra extra sharp x-acto blades and some GS for final tidy/cleanup but otherwise the amount of time saved assembling models makes this game a bargain. Again, I probably should wait until I get my stuff but as of now I am not only super hyped up but excited to start showcasing this game to local players ( lets snuff out those kill team/shadespire wanabies)

Waiting for the game to hit, collected 3x 4'x6' table mats with sweet terrain that I can't wait to play TOS on.

It would be very cool if Wyrd did a box "opening" video and post it on YouTube to showcase box content and how all the models look in-hand. This would definitely hype up the upcoming game.

That is 100% why I believe this game will succeed in the long run from its community. Doing plastic and large unique models will drawn in crowds when displaying a fully painted army. I strongly believe that Warmahordes got to where it used to be by introducing Colosals/Gargants. First thing I am paining is my two Dreadnoughts and two Cutters as centerpiece models. Nothing irks me more than watching 40k players drop bareplactic primarches/demons on the table that detract from the experience as opposed to have people walk up and say "dam that is cool" when having them painted.

I on the other hand am very disappointed Wyrd has not air-shipped some starter boxes for GenCon. This would allow them to justify the shipping premium by charging full retail cost to consumers as a manufacturer. This would increase potential members of TOS community and allow youtuber's and painters to start reviewing the product ahead of the release. Generating much needed free marketing. The only reasoning this strikes me as not being done is we, the backers, are not anywhere close to receiving our product ( promised end of August). This would anger the backers if GenCon received some pre-release 2-3 months ahead of the backers ( 2-3 weeks would have been acceptable) Last official update was on the 17th, hoping for a spark of hope by 31st as all of us village people are getting restless and sharpening old pitchforks.

As long as I get my weekly updates with picture of product/smiling employees holding said product I am content as a backer. Instead of being promised delivery and reassured that product is arriving, I would like to see proof and existence of pallets of product getting ready to ship to backers. This would much de-escalate the situation of delivery being pushed back almost a year. PS: I do agree with delivery and store availability needing to be close to each other time wise. Its important to get our stuff but also to be able to introduce new players to the game just as fast.

fire golem is an amazing kit to put together, very easy and no fiddly bitz. Starting to feel closer to GW plastic/layout than past Wyrd plastics.

already have couple people interested in getting the starter sets due to "affordability". at ~$60.00 this beats out GW's start collecting ( and gets you a playable army). Very good price point for a new game to get people flipping cards.

do we know if this will be plastic or metal/resin like winter Rasputin box?

I mean did we get the pricing? at $50 hell yes, at $60 yes , $70 maaayybee, $80 unlikely, $80+ hell no. so the question is, do they want to sell couple at higher prices or do they want to sell the stock at much more affordable cost. ( I still do not see it selling as well as past Nightmare boxes even at $50 due to niche nature of box/crew/and composition of crew interactions)

I think we would have preferred something with a Slick/Cool (McCabe/Cooper) look to it as opposed to a "trolly" crew. In my personal opinion, I do not believe this will be a big seller as its a very niche master with a very very niche theme that, as posted above, needs more models to fully support it.

I think you have to abuse from the shadows 5ss boars to make ulix work, hire 4-6 minimum. Than have 1 "big" pig cart Ulix around. In that sense I do see the attraction from the box as long as I can get my hands on 3 more ponies (for nice round 6). the 2/4/6 dmg track on a 5ss model is bonkers good.

I think he is referring to KIN box set models. Franc/Raph/Pere/sniperwhatumacallit are all DF4's
