In our current meta there are no Res players. Because I like the underdog, I want to give them a try. The thing is, I don't like painting zombies, undead, vs and rotting type models. Other than Reva, what are my options?

What is the ruling on this so I can explain to my opponent.

One of out Local players runs Mac Mourning, he runs up the pooch, gives everyone poison automatically, then moves up Sebastion and Mc Mourning, who as soon as my model activates, they take 3, then another 3 at the end of the turn. I am unable to do anything and tend to loose my models quickly. Thoughts on how to deal with this?

I am looking for the following cards for MK2 from the wave 2 Arsenal packs Friedkorps Sniper Friedkorps Librarian Friedkorops Strong Arm Suit Misitiaki Outcasts Solo I have the Arsenal deck with Upgrades for Guild and the Tara crew cards for Outcasts.

What I do for my bases is I paint the base the color I want for the water. I add in any tall grass then I use Realistic Water from Woodland senics and just pour it on the area. I hope that helps.

I am clearing out some of my Mali stuff that I either do not want to buy cards for or that I no longer am able to play. I used a liquid resin for the bases, and various type of flock. I was excited today when I got my Relic Hunters in the mail. The GF was sleeping so I was able to sneak out and her her some doughnuts. I come back to the Fed Ex Guy getting to my door with the box and am able to get my stuff. She loved the surprise and I was in my warm house. Only when I opened the box, the cards were missing....sad me! I was hoping to run them on Thursday.

I am not a fan of the sculpts...too small. I used an airbrush to paint them and I might have been heavy handed with the trigger. I thought about keeping one unassembled, but since I was doing them all as a lot. If I make enough to buy a fig I will be happy.

Really, could you have made these minis any smaller and used even more parts? I wanted to show this gal off, I have two others also painted up but I was only taking pictures of minis I was gonna sell. The other two I am keeping for my own army. I will be painting another set up soon, so these were good practice.

I plan to show, I feel like getting in some practice. Would anyone have an issue if I proxied in a Judge model, I own a ton of guild, but not enough to constitute a starter box. The other option is my Outcasts, but I want a change.

@ Bunny, go for it. Not sure why it is not showing but Vanessa has glowing energy trail coming off her staff. I only used her because she was one of the few models in my box I could have used without having to go out and buy a better one. Yes I know she is over the top, but she will work for now. As for the blue skin, I wanted some sort of contrast. I might go back and hit it with a green wash to match the brass work.

I really wanted to see what the Malifaux plastics were like and I was able to get my hands on the Rail Golem kit at Gencon. I am very disappointed with how they turned out. The models just feel...boring or tiny, or both. None the less I went to town painting up this guy. While I am an Outcast player first I figured I could use him with Vanessa when she comes out. I went to town with my bits box and came up with conversion. The model is not the best, but it should count in terms of a proxy till she is released.

I am sure I am going to get set on fire for this, but I am really unimpressed by the plastics I have seen. I find them to be very small, fragile, and devoid of detail compared to their metal counterparts. For example on Miss Terious I am not even sure I can paint her face, it has no detail at all. The Rail Golem, looks impressive, but there is a great deal of open space that needs some sort of texture to it. These are just my opinions.

Had this pop up in a game last night. The Resser player had some scheme where he had to have more corpes counters in play then the number of models. I killed the models with the Graverobber characterisitic so according to the rulebook no more counters are created when a model dies, but what about the other tokens in play? Do they stay? Go away?

I am sure this is the reason I loose most games I play (any game) as I hate to field multiple models that are the same. I like only having one of a model (or two if they look cool). For this reason I will not buy packs of Death Marshalls or Witchling stalkers. Am I the only person who feels the same way?

Again what was the response from from TO? The store? I hate to break it to you, but gaming can be very cliquish and if they do not want you there, then do not show up. I would not want to play at a store where I was not wanted reguardless if I liked the game or not. Stores do reserve the right to prevent who they want from showing up and more importantly why would you want to be somewhere you are not wanted?

I am in Peotone (which is about 1/2 way between Champaign and Chicago). We have a few people who play and funny enough even though we put Malifaux in the 50% off bin we have had a bunch of people join in.

I picked up two starters because the price was right. I have yet to play a game until they get painted. The quality of the minis was nice (blows Malifaux out of the water IMHO) and the rules look quick and brutal. There are some confusing things as this is a Euro game, but I am willing to learn.
