@Wren: Thanks. That was a really great IP entry. I don't think that I would have been able to cover a miniature that I put all that effort into paint with epoxy. Really funny piece, though.
@All:
Part II:
I guess that I should have asked along with the original question, but...
Does anyone have any tricks for spacing the lines? I find that especially difficult, especially when the surface is uneven.
Thanks again!
I just wanted to thank everyone who took the time to answer. I certainly have a number of techniques to try now.
@Brushmistress Thanks for the advice and fantastic work on the pirate! That is a great looking miniature.
@Wren Thanks for the advice. I'm not sure that the third link goes to the image that you intended.
Thanks again!
I don't think that there is a restriction on scale, but I'm not positive.
I try to keep a list of miniature painting contests that interest me on my site: http://www.stanscorner.com/Miniatures/competitions.html
Hello All!,
It may seem like a silly question (in fact, it may be a silly question ), but...
Is there a trick to painting straight lines? For example, stripes on pants or checkerboard patterns?
Thanks!,
Thryth
Wow! That's really nice. The pieces really work well together and are beautifully done. I wonder if this would look better on a darker background, though?
Hello All!,
I was wondering how other people clean their files. Mine get clogged with bits of metal, and it's not obvious to me how to clean that out without damaging the files.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions!
