  1. Is the maid signing, "I Love You?"
  2. Very nice. I have seem similar pieces before, but not in a complete set like this.
  3. That's cool, but you might want to change the title! (and I'm certainly not offended, I've certainly painted my share of unclothed miniatures )
  4. Kevin White! My curiosity is piqued.
  5. Remo Williams is great! I don't know anything about the books, but I was disappointed that they never made any more movies.
  6. I'm not sure he is talking about Wizards, but I do like that one, too. I like Willow. I don't know, does Rocky Horror count?
  7. @ScottRadom Thanks. Actually, looks like things are sort-of working: 1) I can log-in now. 2) One of my browser's goes to some spam-y ifastnet.com site, but my other browser seems to work okay. Not sure why the browser matters. Very odd.
  8. I have two problems getting started with this: 1) I tried to register (a couple of days ago), but then I was told that the account was inactive when I tried logging-in. 2) Now the site seems to be missing. Just me?
  9. http://www.thewarstore.com/product42230.html
  10. Added a link on my site. That should generate some serious traffic for you (joke)!
  11. Well, by going to their site, it seems that you can buy them in the US from http://www.chronos-creations.com/ , but they aren't cheap. The price is the reason that I don't own any other them yet (if I did own any, that would be my entry for IP6R1 ).
  12. Wow! That's really amazing. 20 hours! That's how long my average miniatures take. Really nice work.
  13. 1) I agree, I would also like to see the occasionally Wyrd-only contest. I remember entering one way back. What was it called? Totally Wyrd? 2) I really like what you are saying about the exclusivity for a period of time. I remember buying miniatures from the Wyrd booth at GenCon 40 because they hadn't been released yet. I thought that I was going to be able to get them painted before the studio work came-out (didn't manage that, though).
  14. I think that I have that version.
  15. I'll second what Wren said about the comments. The comments are one of the important reasons for me entering the Wyrd contests.
  16. I don't suppose that you would want to hold, say, a TT and/or FF while you are thinking about this, would you?
  17. I thought that there were a couple of nice pieces in their previous release.
  18. Pretty-sure I don't want that. My two cents... I actually like the Classic Wyrd contests versus Iron Painter. I think that it is a nice balance (looks like there is no way to insert a table, please excuse the ASCII)... -------------------------------------------------------------- | Classic | Iron Painter | -------------------------------------------------------------- | Anonymous | Known entrants | -------------------------------------------------------------- | Open Voting | Judged | -------------------------------------------------------------- | Decent time to paint | Little time to paint| -------------------------------------------------------------- | Known categories | Random categories| -------------------------------------------------------------- | One round voting | Marathon | -------------------------------------------------------------- You get the idea. I'm happy with the two contests the way that they are. My preference would be to keep the two contests dissimilar (especially regarding anonymity and time scales). The trophy miniature is a cool idea, but I would assume an expensive one. The terrain, sculpting, etcetera doesn't really interest me, but I am sure that there are many here that would like those. Not sure that helped much
