  1. Yeah, I can see why that was be a pain. I guess reaper is a little to use to the fact that most people who will attend their con tend to come from their forums or be painters and sculpters who are fairly familiar with the company.
  2. Well they do, but in a round about way. When they say they throw open the doors they mean it literally, it's at Reaper HQ. Their main address in Denton,Texas. I believe that at the con you can even get a guided tour of the casting facilities at any time, and try casting a mini if you like.
  3. Depends a little bit on the base. The ones that are sculpted to be something, like a branch, or a tile floor are cool. The ones that are just randomly textured metal I hate.
  4. I have to admit That I took one look at the abstracts (I forgotten the regular word for it) of the Anita Blake books, and went, this is going to turn into hre having random and explicit sex with monsters, especially as soon as the word incubbus was used in a title. So, I'm rather glad my unfounded cynicism came true. Sorry you had to read it though, sex is fine, but really unless something plot important happens during said activity, coome on, let us know it happened then move on.
  5. I live in eternal fear of something like this happenening. It basically means thanks to the weather where I live I can seal my minis only on the occassional day. I've been told the white is a humidity issue normally. and why you're not suppose to seal on rainy days.
  6. You'll have to see how many joined just for the competition, not that I do more then lurk here. :creep: Back to lurking mode.:creep:
  7. Seriusoly, get an authentic indian recipe and make it from scratch. A curry just isn't the same from a packet. Lamb curries are great, um, if you're not vegetarian or vegan. Be careful what recipe you use though, there are different types of curries. Personally I don't carefor Vindaloos, as I like my hot in moderation, but there are a range of heavily herbed curries that are not hot. Really, there's a lot going on in the world of the indian curry, it covers a wide variety of different dishes. The other good tip I can suggest is your recipe will most likely call for something called Masala (or close to that I can't remember the exact spelling). Get a recipe for it and make it fresh yourself. It will make a world of difference, and it doesn't take long to do. You just put the spices into a fry pan and cook them until they start to pop, then grind them up together. Great spice mix. You can make extra and keep it, at least that way you know how old it is. Oh, Vince, the computer in red dwarf is Holly. Hal is from 2001: a space odyssey.
