Very nicely done crew, and I love the colors you chose for Candy's dress. The eyes/tongue on the spirit really POP in contrast to all that purple. Nice job.
The way Pandora shares the color scheme of the Sorrows and the Poltergeist is very, very well done, and the bloodied hands of the spirits set off against their green shades is also a chilling touch. And I think your color choices for Candy and the Teddy are also inspired.
Those bases are just perfect. I love the interplay of the figures and their bases, and the stark contrast of the realistic paint jobs on LCB and Coppelius, even the Alps, versus the oversaturated neon richness of the little nightmares, oh, so delightful. A perfect crew.
The use of that olive green to unify the crew is a very nice touch, and the Nothing Beast is a real nightmare haunter. Your restraint elsewhere really makes the red of La Bete Noire pop and makes her a showpiece here.
Atmospheric and moody, capturing the lushness and the danger of the swamp. That vegetation on Bad Juju takes on a life of its own, and the lighting effects on Zoraida are excellent.
Intriguing use of the white-on-white, meaning the creatures are constructed out of snow, not ice, I guess. Beautiful either way. But Raspy and the Wendigo are the real winners in this for me, not because they stand out from the rest but because withing themselves each is an excellent paint job. Raspy's coat looks like she just stepped off a fashion runway! And the use of the Wendigo without victim works so well here. Your detail work on the fur is really nice, and the bloodied fangs are an excellent touch.
This is what you see at the Korova Milk Bar when you've had too much milk-plus-knives -- a cotton candy nightmare crowd pulled from the back lot of "The Prisoner." So disturbing, and so creative! Well done!
Holy crap! You've captured the malice and the menace and the mischief of the Gremlins all in one crew, using a slightly subdued yet realistic scheme and palette here ... outstanding!
I mean, your painting of these captures the textures of the gremlins' makeshift clothing yet also the danger of their weapons (and Som'er's teeth!) and their drunken delight beneath and oh-so-solid Whiskey Golem. Fantastic job!
Nice consistent details on all the minis, but for me that ... what's it called, an emberling? ... that thing at the front just steals the show. Perfect capturing of his crusty face and limbs surrounding the rush of fire inside. I hope mine turns out a fraction as well when I get around to painting it. Well done!
OMG how those green's pop. Definitely bringing out the BRILLIANCE! Wish I could see that beckoner on the left a little better, but this is outstanding work. It's got me thinking Pimp Hat, Zoot Suit Riot, and Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory all at the same time. So cool!
