My basing is normally pretty plain, but I really liked the look of Curtis' base he created for the official Carrion Emissary paint job. So I thought I would see if I could utilize the techniques he described to replicate the base. I think it came out all right. The motto on the base is from Terry Pratchett's Discworld Series. It is the family motto of the Sto Helit family, and in not quite grammatical latin it translates as: "Don't Fear the Reaper".
