DemiMurgos 161 Posted June 7, 2022 Report Share I love how lush this entry is, the Damned blending into its surroundings is actually really documentary-like. I'd comment that there is a lack of highlights on the model itself, but the fact it looks like a forest-dwelling wild beast just puts it into its place. I like the subtle contrast between the flowers and the red straps of the Damned. The water effect is really nice, I imagine a huge rain going on or a waterfall being nearby. Well-earned 3rd place (based on votes). 1 Quote Link to comment
Jamien 2 Posted June 7, 2022 Report Share The water pools on the antlers are such a great highlight including the moss hanging from them as well. Very great job with this Quote Link to comment

I wanted to go with a more natural feeling for the mini where it felt muddled like it just crawled out of the swamp. I really had fun doing this competition it's shown me so much and I've learned so much from this one thing I've done. 1 Quote Link to comment
Shock & Awe 679 Posted June 8, 2022 Report Share Overall a really great submission. As others pointed out, the pools on his antlers are a nice touch. I get the feeling you were going for, but the way that the water reflects made it feel less like water and more like... slime? If you use still water or something for those effects, it might be a good idea to blend a little bit of green pigment into it? The issue is that water is almost never completely clear, there's always something mixed up in it. Drops are one thing, but on a body I feel like it needs something to make it seem not so perfectly clear. I don't know, just my impression. Quote Link to comment
