Too thick paint(

I like the grass more than the gravel, but the model would benefit from finer detail...maybe some shading and highlighting.  Definitely want to use a plain background when taking the photo; asphalt makes it hard to see the model.

Too rude brush work, use less paint and more water on the brush

The gravel is quite course and looks out of scale.

Thinner paint, more contrast, more accuracy - and it will be great!

a tad thinner paint may help and defining your areas with a little bit of lining could be your next steps.

As others said, thinner paints and maybe more color variation. Great starting point.
