That's really cool work with really bad photo( For future: online competition include good photo too. Best variant: plain monochrome neutral background (white, black, gray). Room stuff and hand distract from paintjob

Excellent painting.  Yeah, check the photos in previous competitions to see how others have staged their models.  Most of them aren't held in their hands.  A blank background keeps the focus on your sweet painting skills, where it belongs.

Agree with the above comments, very good paintjob, like the contrast and placement of highlights, but the picture doesnt do it justice.

Beautiful painting...just need better photography. The camera is focusing on your fingers and your beautiful work is not reading as well.

I sympathize completely. Just cant get my work to look as sharp with my photo setup, than from the hand. And it's astonishing as well. Really, an inspired paint job.

Perfectly painted miniature! I really like the contrast, colors and working with the base, but the background for photographing is not good.
