Messy( And this green stuff on a base distract from miniature

It's a busy model to begin with, so the day-glo green basing is fighting to capture the viewer's attention.  On table, the book is cool, but smeary green lines are not what I would have chosen for a detail/close-up shot.  I like the purple brew coming out of the pot, though!

I literally have problems with recognizing the model and details

Yeah agree it is very busy model tbh this one was an experiment  as wasn't quite sure what I wanted to do other than purple bits and show cracks in cauldron 

Experimenting is good. I think the purple could be more saturated to make it pop more. And then use a dirtier, murky brown green for the base. The cauldron is very shiny, so maybe that could be black/dark grey with metallic scratches?

Yeah I think they would be interesting  though as gor base it's meant to be over the top lol when I've done full Crew will see the full theme 😉 

Looks messy although I'm positive it looks much better in person. Love the work you put into it.

Not an easy model to paint. I like the general approach to the base, but the puddle is too bright, which takes away the viewer's attention.
