Lemonconstruct Posted July 19, 2013 Report Share Posted July 19, 2013 (edited) Hey all, after seeing another 'the fact that Ophelia doesn't have much synergy apart from with young' come up on twitter I though of a potential idea. My idea is that young get changed so that instead of giving Ophelia upgrades and shooting NVG shots they have ability to give different types of ammo to kin models. eg they could add blasts, positives vs undead, armour piercing, allow gun attacks to b used as melee attacks. This would provide synergy throughout the crew and mean that Ophelia might need to be more careful than just sitting and shooting. Just thought could make short ranges on these and the 'Here you go' action so that youg can still help Ophelia but we have a choice of what to do with them Edited July 19, 2013 by Lemonconstruct Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Balefirestorm Posted July 19, 2013 Report Share Posted July 19, 2013 I like the ideas. there was a big thread back in the M2E forum regarding the "Ophelia problem" that had a lot of interesting ideas. Not only regarding the Young, but also changing Ophelia's upgrades to be more than just guns. One of my favorites where the one where it allowed friendly kin models to deploy further up field, after succeeding on a WP against TN flip. She's supposed to be (my view from the fluff) to be a character that is really good at adapting to new situations (in her own of course). So upgrades/abilities that reflects this would be really cool. Just as abilities that gives her (and the kin in general) synergy. Something that they're at the moment sadly lack.
