If there's a master that specialises in Pigs will Som'er stay as a jack of all trades or will he change to a more Bayou Gremlin/Mosquito focused direction? I'd personally prefer if Som'er either (A) remained a jack-of-all-trades Master that could summon models as-needed for the task at hand or ( just becomes an insane summoning factory, even more so than he is today, to differentiate himself from Ulix's pigs and Ophelia's gunline playstyles. One of my personal hopes for M2E Gremlins in general is to see the Warpig rebalanced significantly. He's a great model and I have one that I had painted on commission that looks spectacular. Too bad I have only played him once since then, and that was specifically because I wanted to use him and not because it was a great choice. BC3 Posted May 15, 2013 Report Share Posted May 15, 2013 I don't think of Som'er as having any real special utility except for summoning. He does a bit of everything, and in a very tough body for a gremlin, but you can use another model to get anything he might offer for utility (including damage with no resist). If I were a betting man, I would predict that Som'er will have his utility skills moved to upgrades. I think that those upgrades will compete with summoning upgrades, allowing you to choose whether you want a Swiss Army gremlin or a bayou gremlin factory. Dumb Luck Posted May 15, 2013 Author Report Share Posted May 15, 2013 Even then, his summoning ability is awfully restrictive (need at least an 11 to pull it off, both gremlins take damage). Most of the time if you're after numbers, you're better off taking Ophelia since she can utilise the Bayou Gremlins better. Ever had a whole bunch of Gremlins shoot themselves in the face, just because you're playing Som'er? Not fun. Til the new Gaining Grounds, Sooey and the Skeeters made him better with the pigs anyway.
