whiskey2000
It says when attacker misses with a ranged strike this model deals damage using the combat dual total as if it had hit the attacker with a jack knife strike. Does this mean he will get +2 Dg to his damage output because he has a built in ram and will have used a ram in his defensive dual ?
Alex
I don't think so because he didn't use his Cb to strike, and the defensive duel doesn't count for that either as it's only using the combat total-- the numeric differerence-- AS IF he had hit-- to determine what sort of +/- flip to make. So no Rams anywhere. That said, I don't have the card in front of me, and I feel like "as if" interactions are always weird to grok.
Adran
He can not declare Critical strike as a Trigger for 2 reasons. Firstly There is only 1 trigger per action, and he has already declaredn "Its all in the reflexes as his trigger for this action". Secondly Critical strike will only trigger if he uses his Cb in a duel. He isn't using his Cb, so he can't announce it.
