"Butterfly" Blast Markers

Pinocchio

Question

If the damage flip is a double or triple blast, can you "butterfly" the blast markers, so the 2 or 3 markers are covering the same model and the model takes "X" damage, X number of markers?

I.e. Each blast marker deals 5 Dg to my target and my target's base is covered with 2 blast markers, would it get 10 Dg?

THere actually isn't anything that says they can't overlap if they are touching the edge of another blast marker--it's possible for a three:blast to be placed such that two of the blast markers are touching the first blast marker. Thus, they could be rotated so that they 2nd and t3rd overlap each other. It wouldn't do anything and would waste some of the area you can cover, but AFAIK, you could do it.

And it's actually quite normal for 2 blast markers to be on the same model, if that models base is partway over the edge.
