Malifaux April Fool’s Day Tournament

Tournament Intent: This tournament is intended for players of all abilities and experience levels. It is also the TO’s first tournament and the first Malifaux tournament for the gaming store, so this will serve as a learning experience for all involved.

Tournament Date and Time: Sunday, April 1st, 2012 12:30pm

Tournament Schedule (tentative):

Tournament Kick-off: 12:30pm - 1:00pm

Round 1 Setup: 1:00pm - 1:15pm

Round 1 - Shared Slaughter: 1:15pm - 2:30pm

Break: 2:30pm - 2:45pm

Round 2 Setup: 2:45pm - 3:00pm

Round 2 - Shared Claim Jump: 3:00pm - 4:15pm

Break: 4:15pm - 4:30pm

Round 3 Setup: 4:30pm - 4:45pm

Round 3 - Shared Line in the Sand: 4:45pm - 6:00pm

Tally and Prizes: 6:00pm - 6:15pm

Tournament Rules:

• Deployment: Standard Deployment

• Terrain: Terrain will be pre-setup

• Strategies: Fixed Shared Strategies

• Crew Construction: 30SS, fixed faction (this may change)

• Painting Level Requirement: Fully painted preferred

• Scoring: VP/TP/Diff

Model Appearance Standard: Fully painted to a three color minimum is the preference, but as this tournament is meant to attract beginning players as well as advanced players the TO will not disqualify players who have not painted their crews.

Permitted Rules/Models: All models released to the general public are available to play

Special Rules: None

Proxy Rules: Proxies of any kind are not allowed under any circumstances

Prizes:

Prizes will be awarded for:

• 1st place

• 2nd place

• 3rd place (if over 8 players)

• Best Sportsman/Favorite Opponent

Additional Prizes may be awarded at time of tournament.
