I will be hosting a memorial day tournament, bringing the points back down to welcome some of the new players in the Northern VA scene. Hope to see everyone there!!!

    • Pre-Registration will be accepted via paypal and email to Nix@coda.net

    Registration Fee: $10

    Tournament Date: Saturday, May 28, 2011

    Tournament Time:

    • Registration: 12:00pm – 12:30pm
      Tournament Kick-off: 12:30pm – 12:45pm
      Round 1 Crew Draft: 12:45pm – 1:00pm
      Round 1: 1:00pm – 2:15pm
      Round 2 Crew Draft: 2:30pm – 2:45pm
      Round 2: 2:45pm – 4:00pm
      Round 3 Crew Draft: 4:15pm – 4:30pm
      Round 3: 4:30pm – 5:45pm
      Round 4 Crew Draft: 6:15pm – 6:30pm
      Round 4: 6:30pm – 7:45pm
      Awards: 8:00pm

    Tournament Rules:

    • Deployment: Standard Deployment
    • Strategy Selection: Random Shared Strategy
    • Crew Construction: 25ss, Single Faction
    • Painting Requirement: Fully Painted
    • Scoring: Domination Format – TP/Diff/VP

    Proxy Rule: Proxies (substitute models) are not allowed under any circumstanced, nor can a player enter a tournament with a model that has not been released to the general public.

    Prize Ruling:

    • - Prizes will be awarded for
      • 1st place
      • 2nd place
      • Favored Opponent
      • Players Choice

@Sobek,

Thats disappointing. Let me toss this out there. I will not kick anyone out for playing with unpainted models.

At the same time, I am not sure I understand the hesitation or resistance to painting up Malifaux models or playing with fully painted crews. Especially with Ressers, who rarely have more than 15 models on the table at a time. I am not asking for a specific standard, just that effort go into painting up the models. Why is there such vocal resistance to this?

Help me understand, I am intrigued.
