EricJ
ok, so I was watching Supernatural last night, and the episode had a wishing well, and a little girl wished for a giant living teddy bear. Anyway, I this became a classic Puppet moment as the bear gets depressed, gets into drinking and naked magazines, and eventually shoots itself, resulting in a spray of stuffing...but of course doesn't kill the bear... Nothing better than a 5 year old saying "He started out fun, but now he's just depressed all the time and smells like the bus" Anyway, I add this as a classic Puppet moment on film. Any more? Ratty
Outer Limits has a wonderful episode with a doppleganger, which starts with the kid looking for teddy and you seeing some glowing red eyes from under the bed.
Sliver Chocobo
The supernatural bear is one of my favourites But the best is the episode of Angel when angel turn into a puppet And let me make this clear I do not have puppet cancer

I have pissed my pants laughing again, hearing the theme song now on youtube, though afair the impact it made was even greater the first time I have seen the movie. DangerousBeans
Yeay Angel! And let's not forget Sid the Horny Dummy from s1 of Buffy. Also, not really a puppet as such, but in Nightmare on Elm St 3: Dream Warriors there's the classic moment when Freddy uses that dude's veins as puppet strings and walks him off the building

JMGraham
Absolutely miserable series of movies, but I think there's like 9 or 10 of them now:
jmp_mydog
Miserable is a bit harsh. For straight to DVD they weren't half bad. Blade is still one of the coolest looking puppets.

Dark Alleycat
Definitely the Angel puppet episode. And as far as puppet master series goes...the first one was great. second sucked. third was decent and then it just went downhill from there. and of course...there was Demonic Toys. The Teddy that movie had was quite appropriate..the jack in a box $$$$$$$$$$ with teeth was hilarious...and baby oopsie daisy was a foul mouthed little maniac perfectly appropriate for the story. Dark Alleycat
He's not as cool as slappy in a head to head throwdown, Chucky would not only slap down Slappy like a sock puppet, but he would deliver a wonderful one liner while he did it. Dark Alleycat
*grins* I am happy to say that it was a combination of Freddy Kreuger and Chucky that I learned my sense of humour from.
