Blackmore
Hi all. very new to the Malifaux phenomenon, but already have some queries, which Id love to know the answers to. Firstly, what master would best benifit a newbie player and how could she be played to maximum efficiency? Secondly, who or what is the black knight? and finally, Is Teddy a good choice. I have my eyes set on Teddy and the Pandora crew, but dont know if this is the best idea... any input would be great
Tonytone
Welcome. Lilith is far and away the easiest Neverborn master to start with. Beyond her the Neverborn is not a newbie learning faction. Teddy is a good solid model yes. Pandora though quite powerful in the hands of a good player may very well be the hardest Master to use. I might consider Zoraida harder but that is about it. A Lilith starter box and a couple of the new Young Nephilim is an excellent way to begin the Neverborn. Black_Mamba
Welcome, Blackmore. I'd agree with Tonytone's advice about Lilith - she is probably the easiest Neverborn Master to learn. That said, Pandora is a lot of fun once you get the hang of her. If you're already leaning toward Pandora and you like Teddy then I'd suggest you just give her a try. There are several good threads in this list discussing tricks and tactics for using Pandora's crew. I've recently started to play her more myself and I've really appreciated the advice from other members. Pandora's a lot of fun once you start to get the hang of her.
