Social group: Malifaux Peacemakers

I've created a new social group for the Guild: the Malifaux Peacemakers.

"The Peacemakers of the Guild are dedicated to bringing order and peace to the city, saving as many lives as possible. The safety of the common men and women who dedicate their lives to our community must be protected, by any means necessary. By keeping the Breach open, the streets safe, the machinery running, and the soulstones flowing, we can all prosper. One of our greatest weapons is knowledge. The more we know about the world, the magic, and the monsters of Malifaux, the better we can combat its foul influence. Make no mistake - Malifaux itself is our enemy. It wants us dead, and has made this clear time and again. But we can combat it with our knowledge, as dangerous as our swords, spells, and bullets. The Peacemakers welcome the help of any who wish to protect the brave people of Malifaux from the vile influence of the Arcanists, the creeping threat of the Resurrectionists, and the abhorrent nature of the Neverborn."

Excellent. Shut down the machines. There's been an obvious rabble-rouser among the ranks and we've been pushing for some grievous error of judgement like this to allow us to come in and route him out.

Maybe we'll enlist Hammelin and his fiddly bits to come and sing a song and all the rats will come out at once.

My guess is there's a big rat with a mechanical limb pushing the little mice around, causing dissent and creating an unhealthy working environment. The natives are on the move again, and the rise of the vile Resurrectionists leaves little room for the happy masses to get led down the darkest alleys to their doom.

We'll protect them. Visionaries are only as good as the visions they share. The visions of the M&SU seem pretty....misguided at best.

OK. The M&SU has a huge issue with the Guild claiming that they keep the machinery in this city running.

We have nothing but respect for the noble labor of the M&SU. We make no claim to being behind the wheels, so to speak, of the devices you run that help our city thrive. Our statement was to point out that we all work best when we work together. That steamfitter making his way to work could be ambushed by any number of ruffians or foul creatures. We want to make sure he gets to his job safe and sound. When your mine is surrounded by the undead, there's no more welcome face than a Death Marshal. Corrupt sorcerers looking to kidnap your children are forced to scurry away when they see our brave Witch Hunters keeping a sharp eye out for such trouble. And the train carrying the efforts of your mining back home are guarded by Peacemakers, making sure everything goes according to plan.

We're all in this together!

He speaks the truth. We have nothing but the best intentions for all those who inhabit Malifaux. The Guild does not seek to control the lives of the populace. We support the rights of each man and woman to earn her wages as they see fit (so long as it is within the boundaries of the law).

By no means did Scorpio intend to imply any slight towards the hard working men and women of the M&SU. Their efforts are vital to keeping the infrastructure of Malifaux in working order, and ensuring that the Soulstones upon which all of our fortunes rest are mined safely and efficiently. There are some of us who are wary of the influence the M&SU president wields, as well as his general disregard for for some of the unspoken laws and scoial taboos of our fine community.

The Guild of the Ram wants nothing more than a city that is safe and comfortable for all who dwell there, and by extension, all of the industry outside of the city itself, as that still affects the lives of the citizens of Malifaux.

As AoM already knows, I'm here to help the Guild. Those vile Resurrectionists are a plague on this land, and I intend to aid in ridding it of them.

Welcome to the party, Sarr. Glad to see you've chosen to declare your allegiance publicly.
