Absolution Black
My forum name comes from a character I have used before in the games I play. In Warhammer he was an Empire Warrior Priest, In WH40k he is my Raven Guard Chaplain. And now in Malifaux, he is reborn!
Shae-Konnit
My name also comes from an RPG character. The game was SLA Industries and the first and most successful character I made was a Stormer-711 Xeno, which is a vat-grown soldier with large multifaceted eyes, armoured skin, double jointed legs and great regenerating abilities. The thing about the Stormers is that since so many are grown, the lab technicians don't really bother with proper names. So, that character was named Cho-Konnit. I got that name from what one of the soldiers in Day of the Dead shouted at a pack of zombies as they carried his legs away - "Choke on it!!". From that came my next Xeno's name, Shae-Konnit. That's from the phrase "Shake on it, buddy!" to seal a deal. To that end, i also used it for my online store. One of the other players in my group also made a Stormer type and called it "Sur-Konnit". I have a longstanding NPC in my games named Boss Oni Zaka. Why? Because he Pwnz, sukka! Yeah, I don't think it was ever really funny, but the name stuck. Mala Fide
Mala Fide. - In latin it literally translates as 'bad fate' and has always been a joke about my dice rolls. Used it for years. Also it can be used as the opposite to bona fide to describe a lie or falsehood.

Seventeen
Mine comes from a White Wolf Trilogy "The Horizon War" by Richard Wienberg. He was a Death Wizard before baddies captured him, wiped his brain, experimented on him, filled him with superchemicals and nanotech which heal him and give him super strength... His only identity was what the staff and other prisoners called him... Prisoner Seventeen.

Mergoth
Mergoth is a mix of my real name (which most people assume I either made up or they heard me wrong) and Morgoth, the great dark Ainur who was Sauron's boss. First came up in secondary school when a pretentious friend waded through The Silmarillion and went, "hey, if we combined...", and the rest is history. My grrfriend is a Tolkien nut so I get a lot of positive reinforcement for using this name. Some people push for my name to be Angry Merl after an infamous rant on Yes The Truth Hurts. In Capoeira I'm known as Sem Nome, or Come Come, depending on who you ask (that's Nameless and Eats Eats (what they call Pacman)).
BigMek
Mine ain't that original either. I've been playing warhammer 40k for more or less 10 years now or even more I think, mainly playing orks and when the time came I had to find a username on a danish miniatures forum and chose the name of one of my favorite ork characters: A Big Mek. Also seems to fit since I love doing crazy conversions, especially on vehicles...and also I'm quite large ^^
TheOneWhoFell
I started using Stumble Upon several months ago (yeah, I'm a late bloomer ). Being a cheeky human being I decided to use "TheOneWhoFell" as my user name (get it? Stumble upon, the one who fell? nevermind). I liked it, so I used it here. I figure it's more appropriate here than anywhere else...
CannonFodder
I was in a tournament and we had to pick names to register, and as the room was going threw the names people were picking cool & hard ass names. My first choice was antidisestblishmentarianist as a way to annoy the judge (I know not the best way to start a tournament, but I play for fun). It was banned within a second because he didn't want to figure out how to spell it. So I chose Cannon Fodder, which is a term from the napolionic wars were generals would send their worst troops in front of thier elite troops in order to have them absorb the shots from the cannons, so the elite troops can reach their the guns. Basically means 'those to be fed to the guns'. Stuck since then.

Bleys_Bariman
My name is from the Roger Zelazny series, the Chronicles of Amber. Bleys is one of 9 princes vying for the throne of Amber. He is a scoundrel, a ginger (I have red highlights naturally in my hair but I'm not a ginger), and a skilled magician and tactician. I identified with his character back when the Internets were done via dial-up modems on local BBSes. (Showing my age here.) So when the local BBS required me to take up a handle it was an easy choice since I was re-reading the Chronicles at that point.
GTFriday13
GTF stands for Gun Totin' Fool, since many of my first RPG characters were combat heavy firearms specialists. Friday was a name given to me by friends for a couple of reasons: I worked at the time at a T.G.I. Fridays, and I always did stuff with one of my good friends, who already had a nickname, so I was called Friday, in honor of Robinson Crusoe. 13 was a number I picked (because I like the number) for myself because our campus ministry in college had 6 Matts, so we decided to give ourselves numbers instead of just using our last names. So, GTFriday13 encompasses gaming, friends and church, 3 things that help define who I am.
ThePandaDirector
My name should be taking very very literally, question it and I shall eat your bones like bamboo. I also sometimes go by Capitana Panda, Papa Panda and Fat Panda though I am none of those things (except the Panda part of course). I go by Temozarela on another forum, which is linked to the Priest manhwa and the name given to my non-existent 40k CSM general. I usually get bored of my usernames and want to change them, but that would mean finding another forum to abuse. I may go boring next time and just use my name. Chryomancer
I am a Wiccan and love ice and snow. Hence 'Chryomancer'. I am also a Rasputina player. I also have a collection of Magic: the Gathering cards based off ice (i.e. Yuki-Onna, Glacial Fortress, Frostling, Unearthly Bilzzard)
i_was_like_you
My screen name on here is the same as I've used for quite a few years now. It's a song lyric from two different songs from two different bands. "I wish I was like you, easily amused" from Nirvana's All Apologies, which I had liked for years before hearing the same lyrics pop up again as the last line of Nine Inch Nails' The Fragile, "Before everything else, I was like you". Spoon
Spoons have been following me my whole life. I have used this name on numerous other forums Privateer, GW, FoW etc... When I was a baby (not newborn)I used a small spoon instead of a pacifier. When I learned to walk I would every day go to the kitchen and find a spoon to carry around with me for no good reason. My first musical experience was learning how to play the "spoons" (slapping 2 spoons together with one hand) My first Science Fair project was about strange music in which I made a xylophone out of.... spoons. My favorite song of all time is Spoonman by Soundgarden, a close second is Written in Reverse... by Spoon! I am always affected slightly with spoonerisms (switching the first letter of different words. Man Bread to Ban Mread etc...) Spoony is my favorite word -means foolish or silly- I had a penpal for all of two letters from Japan. He sent me a letter teaching me how to use chopsticks, I tought him how to use a spoon. He never wrote me back I was given a gold plated spoon for my 21st birthday that I carry with me always. My favorite Superhero as a kid (the Tick) Would yell SPOON! before attacking anything. The sad thing is I can keep going lol. So there you have it, glad to meet you all. Call me Spoon.
Dark Alleycat
Well,I have been called an alleycat pretty much since I was 15. Ive ended up using variations on the alleycat theme for email and such for years. When I made the forum name,I had allready played a couple games of Malifaux and I thought aobut what embodied Malifaux to me. And that was the wyrd, wonderful and terrible things that could be found in the dark alleys of Malifaux. Thus the dark alleycat was born. the grinning cat in a top hat came from a tattoo plan from my GF.
