goblyn13
I'm looking forward to this one. [ame=http://youtube.com/watch?v=tWrIp14Jcbk]YouTube - 10000 B.C. Official Movie Trailer[/ame]
EricJ
ok, saw spiderwick over the weekend, and it was fun, nothing amazing and I have a feeling people who read the book might not like it so much. However, the kid had a very "keanu-esque" delivery to his lines, you know, half exhale before starting to speak and go until out of breath... Maybe I'm just oversensitive, Casey didn't notice it, but still, was good fun.
demonherald
yeah I saw that 10000 bc trailer looked ok but gonna reserve judgement...could be a bit slow....and I always get a shudder when a film is advertised as from the creators of a day after tomorrow...I mean they've done a few films since and still go back to that one...grrr
Nathan Caroland
That Iron Man trailer is one I haven't seen before, that looks like a lot of fun and one that I'm looking forward to. I've been disapointed at the last few comic to film movies but I've got some decent hopes for this one.
supervike
Both those Hellboy animated are fantastic! Great stories, great art, and the same folks do the voice as in the 'live action'. Enjoyable! Duende....what did you think of Cloverfield? We went and saw it this weekend (although I already watched it on internet)....I really dig the movie. Cheesy monster goodness at its best. EricJ
yeah, I can't imagine the internet had the same fun as seeing it big screen! It's funny though, I've seen 2 movies since I saw cloverfield, and both times cloverfield was in the next theater over, and so I got to hear the movie while watching mine! it was great! sort of... Ritual
That Forbidden Kingdom looks fairly promising. It will most likely be tarnished by cheesy comedy and bad acting, but it should definitely be a visual spectacle of great proportions. Yuen Woo Ping was listed as stunt coordinator in the credits, so the fighting sequences should be spectacular. It seems they have nicked some ideas from "The Bride With the White Hair", but as that's a really cool film I don't mind.

It was done a a parody/tribute to the Kung-fu movies of yore, with "The Bride with White Hair" video actually appearing in the movie. As an action movie it did quite well and would be on my list of movies to buy the dvd for.
Thryth
My favorite line from the trailer that I saw, "He has no Kung-Fu! None!"

Jabberwocky
I saw the Forbidden Kingdom a few days ago and really enjoyed it. As a disclaimer, I'm a bit biased, as I'm inclined to like anything with Jackie Chan.

Nathan Caroland
Everything I hear about Iron Man sounds great. In the mean time, here is the post credits stuff after the movie that gives a teaser for what's coming apparently. Of course, most likely be yanked so take it for what its worth. Wren
Thanks for posting this FF! I had been done in by the theater's version of 'medium' soda and just couldn't stay through the credits, even though I suspected there'd be a little tag. supervike
Yep, just got back from Iron Man with my youngest. We both liked it...and even sat through the credits. Robert Downing Jr. really makes that movie ahem fly.....
matty1001
Well I'v no idea what Mr. Jackson is going on about there. Might go see the film, might not, it hasn't really excited me TBH. And if it is a choice between that and the new Joy Division documentary, I know what i'd rather go see. But Joy Division is only getting a limited release at small cinemas, hopefully the Tyneside cinema will get it in.
