Kimberly
So, due to a really really bad Friday of model work, I'm pretty sure I should just strip and start all over on my Schrodinger's Cat. But I've never stripped translucent plastic. Any advice?
Saduhem
Using 91% Isopropyl Alcohol does a fast job with no damage :} At least it has not damaged my translucent Tara :} It's also pretty cheap. I wouldn't breath it in, but it's WAY safer than automotive de-greaser and stuff like that.
Burnin' Coal
If you still have some of the sprue plastic left paint it with some of the clour you used on the model...leave it to dry for twenty four hours then you can experiment without risk to the model itself 😉 Dettol works well on "normal" plastic...leave it for ten minutes then start to brush it off under cold water, repeat until model is clean...can't imagine it would be different on translucent but using old sprue lets you find out safely

Kimberly
@Saduhem your suggestion worked like a dream. Thanks so much! My chances of finishing this model before the competition deadline isn't looking good though. I still have the electrical issues to fix.
