Hello, Wyrd people from all over the Malifaux!

We are glad to invite you to Latvian Newbie Malifaux tournament. The tournament is organized by Malifaux Latvia community and supported by our friends from Dreamforge Latvia. 

Format: Single-faction, 35ss.
Leader: Master or Henchman.
When: Saturday, April, 14th, 10:00 - 21:00. 3 rounds 2:45 minutes each (10:45-13:30, 14:30 - 17:15, 17:30 - 20:15). 
Capacity: 5-9 player
Strategy & Schemes: M2E Rulebook. Announced 7 days prior to the tournament.
Price: 9 EUR per person if paid before April, 1st; if later 11 EUR/person
Location: Dreamforge Latvia, Arhitektoru, 1, Riga, Latvia
Prizes: 
* Small Mystery box for 1st place. 
* Small Mystery box raffle between other participants. 
* Soulstones to each participant.
* "Wooden spoon" for the last place. 
Rules: Latest Errata and FAQ released prior to March, 31st, 2018 are used. 
Exception: 
* Summoning Action rules are working as in M2E Rulebook only for models from master crew box and only if the quantity of summoned models in play is less than in master's crew box. In other cases, models are summoned as following:
1) Follow the rules for summoning action as usual, but instead of summoned model put a Placeholder marker (Ht 0, 30mm).
2) At the beginning of next turn, if your summoner model is still in play and does not have Paralyzed Condition, put 1 summoned model in base contact with Placeholder marker and remove this marker.
Other: 
* All models should be assembled and based on right-sized base. Models should be primed with any primer of any color, so no bare plastic or metal is seen.
* All proxy models need to be approved by organizer before the event. 
* Full-color copies of model cards and upgrades from rulebooks are allowed. 
* Malifaux suited deck is highly recommended (be prepared to replace your non-Malifaux deck with one if opponent asks you for it). 

Important: Since this tournament is aimed for unskilled players with small model pool and limited skills, anyone who took 1st or 2nd place during previous tournaments are prohibited to take part in it. We are kindly welcome you as tournament judges or assistants to help players with rules and other issues during the event.
