DonCheadle
I've been reading Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman recently and there are two figures that reminded me quite strongly of two fellows we know: Mr. Graves and Mr. Tannen. Quote "Croup and Vandemar, the Old Firm. Nuisances eliminated, obstacles obliterated, bothersome limbs removed, and tutelary dentistry." Malifaux being full of both obvious and obscure references (I'm still not sure if Vincent St.Clair is supposed to represent Vin Diesel or not) I was wondering if the lead designers took some inspiration from the two crooked thugs that appear to be humans to the untrained eye. H4ml3t
I've wondered the same thing. It works for me and I hope it's true.
Ludvig
I think it's them. There is that huge thread about all the references somewhere around here, if you care to sift through that you might get more suggestions of what they could be referencing, I think there was some other strange duo someone mentioned. That's hilarious, good job. I'm going to have to re-read Reva's story but with all of Vincent's dialogue in Vin Diesel's voice now.
