Don't forget that now Iron Levi can swap Pariah of Iron for new limited upgrade to remove scheme markers. Agreed - I think the scheme marker removing one seems like it will be extremely useful as an insurance policy against waif removal and as a scheme denial tool. I am not so sure about the other one yet - I like the idea of working off death touch rather than unmaking and leaning more towards a focus on abomination summoning, but I'm not sure yet if it makes the Waifs too exposed (or if Aether Shackles will be enough to make up for that, either through enemy schemes or ensuring I have some of my own scheme markers nearby for just that reason). DXXXVIII Posted September 5, 2017 Report Share Posted September 5, 2017 Viks have great upgrade, Tara has great upgrade becaause nothings better than a buff for FREE xD, Hamelin got nice upgrade and as weird as it sounds... misaki got a great upgrade. Put The bigger they are on her + the blast upgrade that lets her allways cheat damage and choose whos going to get hurt by the blast and the +1 damage bonus adds up as the + 1 damage also counts to damage caused by blasts. this way her blasts can become 3 onmoderate and 4 on severe. thats not shabby. And von schills upgrade which lets him chain his attacks for up to 10 attacks per turn lets you fish for black jokers as easy as...well it took me a while to realise that tara is still the better freikorps-leader. I've considered it, still a min 2 assuming you hit a target with an upgrade and you reach the damage reset that much faster. But I do like the card shipping. Obsidian statue is also high on the list, partly because it gived me an excuse to make a cool statue marker. I must admit my Hamelin era seems to be off to a good start with Midnight Stalker and Benny but Levi will always be one of my favorites because his options are all but limitless. I really don't know if TC Warrior is "needed" with Levi. He plays just fine without access to all his upgrades and the new ones aren't terrible but they are also niche enough not to worry about. Nukemouse Posted September 15, 2017 Report Share Posted September 15, 2017 Titania's knights are in the anchor cost range and have armor and hard to wound, making them as brutally hard to take down as the students. The reason people are pushing them over the students though is whilst the students are specialized beaters with a neat trigger shut down ability the knights bring their own neat movement and slow tricks that its hard not to love, especially since unlike the students the knights can actually pull of useful combos with other models rather than just being nice models on their own.
