New Player with Resurectionists

Hello,

New player and picked up the Red chapel box set and rulebook.

I also, managed to get a job lot of students and a rider on horseback. Unfortunately, i dont have the Cards.

What can people suggest for me to pick up in order to play properly as i notice red chapel set has soul stone upgrade abilities?

It sounds like you have the university of Transmortis box, (Student of Sinew, Student of Viscera, student of Steel and the Validictarian) and the Dead Rider. 

Those are the cards you would need to play those models.

That would let you play with them as models. 

 

I would start by using what you have until you get an understanding of the rules. When you buy a model it should come with its stat card, and any personalised upgardes it may have. There are also 3 decks of cards that give more upgrades. These come with upgrades for all 7 factions. General Upgrade Deck will contain all the upgrades that you can see in the Main rule book and Cross roads that don't come in Crew boxes. (If you only have the rules manual then you won't see any upgrades, but if you have the main rule book then  you'll see a page of Seamus upgrades that will match the ones you got in the Redchapel  box, and after the pages for each master there will be a page of general upgrades. These are the ones you will get in the general upgrade box)

There is also General upgrade 2 which has some new general upgrades that were released in the Ripples of fate book. 

And released soon is the Broken promises upgrade pack with new upgrades for each master. 

You don't need any of them, but they will all give you extra options in game.
