Bonescon (Smogcon) 2018 Ideas

Malifaux (along with other non-PP games) will return to this 3 day convention in February next year, now being renames BonesCon rather than SmogCon.  http://bonescon.com/

I'd like to put on a variety of events, allowing people time to play other systems as well, especially in the Fools Daily Arena, and I'd also appreciate anyone who'd like to volunteer running things over the weekend (as its probably too much workload for just 1 person, and also I'd like some time off!).

Initial thoughts are as below, but open to suggestions;

• Friday evening - Henchmen Hardcore or Enforcer Arena
• Saturday - 4 round standard tournament
• Sunday - story encounter or doubles

Appreciate your thoughts so we can try and plan the event to suit your needs.

As Im off over those dates I could do all 3. Id be wanting to play on Saturday but could definitely help out on the Friday and maybe on the Sunday.  Basically - Friday is the only day I can guarantee bring able to help (including Friday day if needed).

That's a good Malifaux schedule.  

Friday evening is good for some wild stuff to go down.  People will be keen to get a competitive event in and Saturday is a good day for it.  

Then unwinding Sunday with doubles / story encounter is a good way to end the weekend.

Sounds perfect to me, I would probably take time off work on the Friday to make a weekend of it. Probably play every Malifaux event on offer.

I'd be up for random doubles on the Sunday.
I mean, you could reveal the random teams Saturday evening, gives an excuse for people to chat and mix.

As a bit of a loner on the Malifaux circuit (I do have other friends...honest) I actually quite like the random doubles idea.
